    • Build and develop cost benefit ROI, Business Case Models, Functional and technical maturity assessments and Competitive Analysis for clients based on opportunity scope.
    • Understand product and competitive products to be able demonstrate our value proposition effectively to clients.

    • Conveys customer requirements and provides market feedback to Product Management teams.

    Requirements

    • 5-10 years relevant experience in sales or sales consultative role or finance transformation consulting or system integration focused on Treasury, Payments and Liquidity Management.
    • 5-10 years of relevant experience in treasury, payments, cash management or liquidity management or in a technology role related to these practices. Experience in handling CFO office sales would be an added zing!
    • Preference will be given to candidates having worked with TMS/TRM solutions in the past in presales/sales/consulting roles with expertise in the area of treasury and vendor payments.
    • Passion for Enterprise and SaaS Sales as a profession & knack for technology to enjoy business and IT client conversations about our solutions.
    • Should have a natural flair for conversations, collaboration & networking with multiple customers/internal teams on a daily basis. Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills.

    The opportunity

    The GPG SCM Digital solutions category anager, PGSV will deliver the BU PGSV strategies at the global level, on behalf of the Service Business Unit. This role will directly report to Global BU GPG SCM Manager, PGSV. This role will collaborate closely with the GPG SCM teams of PGTR, PGGI and PGHV BUs, besides LSUs in major geographies across Hitachi Energy. The GPG SCM Digital solutions category Manager will be responsible for the coordination of the Sourcing, negotiating, contracting and establishment of Digital service partners globally to ensure a one Hitachi Energy Service approach to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Digital components used in our core solutions and offers., especially Transformers, High Voltage Equipment and Grid Automation products and systems, ideally within the Electrical installations/Energy sector. Knowledge of Hitachi Energy products is an added advantage.

    How you’ll make an impact

  • Develop long term strategy, source and negotiate with suppliers to support the BU PGSV Service operations and digital solutions offer.

  • These include vendors who support components manufacturing for installation, retrofit, testing and commissioning of all major Hitachi Energy products and services.

  • Setting up of all Inter Hitachi Energy company Agreements for contracting Services or purchase of spare parts affecting digital offer.

  • This role helps seamless extension of all major Digital vendor Agreements of BUs (PGSV, PGTR, PGHV and PGGI) to BU PGSV through Novations, renegotiations or extensions.

  • Adopt, plan, and implement global service SCM strategy based on the Service GPG Digital strategies and targets related to the entire service portfolio (lifecycle management, service products and solutions, and IB penetration). Lead the SCM teams and collaborate in delivery and exceeding targets in terms of orders, GM%, response time and customer satisfaction for the full-Service portfolio. Responsible for accurate costing support to Service Sales.

  • Support Service Sales through participation in negotiations of major contracts to secure service orders volume.

  • This Supply Chain Management (SCM) role at Hitachi Energy focuses on developing and implementing PGSV strategies to optimize costs, quality, delivery, and reliability of suppliers and products.

  • Develop, plan and implement Supply Chain Management (SCM) strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery and reliability of suppliers and supplied products for an assigned category or group of categories.

  • Supports, for the assigned spend, a short and medium-term complaint, resilient and sustainable sourcing strategy to meet targets on total cost of ownership and supply performance.

  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements in line with factory expectations in order to deliver price, lead time, and Terms & Conditions information and control its usage in the local ERP systems.

  • Define and Initiate projects to cut total cost of ownership and/or to mitigate risks.

  • Minimizes risk regarding quality and financial exposure by buying in accordance with quality and commercial procedures and in accordance with Company guidelines.

  • Contracts: Adapts corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommends frame agreements to management and executes upon approval. Provides ongoing oversight and contract management with suppliers.

  • Supplier agreements: Ensures identification, investigation, and selection of appropriate suppliers (focusing on quality, delivery, cost and sustainability) in accordance with Company policies. Defines and establishes local standard agreements with all major suppliers. Provides and maintains standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with Company directives and guidelines.

  • Applies and implements SCM standards, tools, and processes focused on business continuity for the assigned commodity or group of commodities/categories.

  • Budget and performance targets: Contributes to and participates in setting and implementing budget and targets within the framework. Ensures the Category sourcing performance targets are achieved.
