Over the last 18 months, Safari Destinations (SD) has initiated an exciting and ambitious digital transformation journey. We are now ready to appoint a new member of our team to support this strategic agenda. This is a fully REMOTE entry-level role for a curious and ambitious person who is passionate about new technology, AI, automation, and digital content creation. The right candidate may not have extensive years of experience but critically will have the drive to research, test, and implement tools and the creativity to help us implement our digital transformation strategy. A high level of English proficiency is essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Explore and test new technologies (AI, RPA, BPA, agents, and digital tools) and recommend practical applications for different departments.
- Support implementation and roll-outs of new systems, including pilot testing, feedback, and user support.
- Create digital training materials , including short videos, tutorials, and guides, to support our Digital Training Academy.
- Document solutions and share knowledge , helping staff adopt new tools with confidence.
- Assist IT with troubleshooting and support when required, providing a bridge between IT, users, and the transformation team.
- Track and monitor licenses and costs for digital tools, flagging opportunities for efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR and the training team to identify critical digital skills and develop appropriate training resources.
- Provide input into new technology-focused projects as part of SD’s transformation journey.
Qualifications and skills include:
- A diploma/degree in IT, AI, Computer Science, Digital Media, or related field. (Graduates with strong potential will be considered.)
- Knowledge of or exposure to automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Zapier, or similar).
- Experience using AI tools and agents (ChatGPT, copilots, Auto Gpt or equivalent).
- Digital content creation skills : ability to create training videos, tutorials, and engaging digital learning material using tools like Canva, Camtasia, Adobe, or AI-driven content platforms.
- Basic technical and process troubleshooting skills .
- Strong problem-solving ability, with resilience and a sense of urgency to find practical effective solutions
- Curiosity and a willingness to experiment with new technologies, able to conduct basic analyses as regards what will add value within SD
- Quick learner
- Good communication (veral and written) skills In English able to explain technical ideas simply and clearly as well as train users with excellent listening skills as to discern user and business needs
- Sound administrative skills, able to track exploration, learning, roll-outs and licenses with a good memory of what has been explored, communicated and decided on
- Self-driven, ambitious, and able to work independently.
