+ Drive Growth through new product ideations.
+ Responsible for working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, influencing them and drive upstream connectivity and change.
+ Responsible for driving BTIs and BTPs
+ Responsible for continual communication and reference to Burning Platform with team/organization and motivate the team to address the Burning Platform
+ Responsible to Identify, prioritize and deploy key improvement strategies/initiatives (e.g., Test design Automation, Frameworks, AI, Simulations, etc) across product lines and programs to drive improvements (Product quality, customer satisfaction, innovation Productivity and Cycle Time) in line with the Software V&V COE SDP priorities.
+ Drive common test environments, tools, processes, test methodologies across all projects. Drive Capex / OPEX, Infrastructure.
+ Cross collaborate across SBG V&V team, scale best practices.
+ Responsible for Talent strategies of the team, (Test Experts/Test Architects) as per the TRR and CDP plan. Develop strong technical leadership in the Product line.
+ Ensure the COE performance is linked closely to the business metrics such as on-time delivery, VPD, yield, product/project costing, innovation etc.
+ Develop strong leadership pipeline. Accountable for People Leadership (MRR/TRR) for his/her functional team.
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or equivalent.
+ Minimum 15+ years' experience in software/systems test and development
+ Held Senior Engineering Manager or Equivalent role for a minimum of 3 years.
+ Exposure of working with multi-site, multi-culturally diverse organization
+ Strong technical and industrial automation domain skills with emphasis in the areas of software development, verification processes and certifications.
+ Experience across BA products in Software Development and system test
+ Experience with preparation and execution of project plans, schedules, cost estimates, baseline change management, risk mitigation, technical design reviews, management reviews, customer coordination meetings, cost/schedule/status reporting.
+ Experience leading multi-functional engineering teams within a global matrix organization. Self-initiative to reach out to team and form effective working relationships

Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical .

Experience: 20+ years of experience in maintenance leadership within biopharma or regulated industries.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

-Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with business goals and global standards

-Lead cross-functional shutdown planning and execution, including coordination of asset investment programs

-Represent the maintenance function in steering committees and regulatory inspections

2. Operational Oversight

-Oversee daily maintenance activities for production equipment, utilities, HVAC, cleanrooms, and support systems

-Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance programs are executed effectively to minimize downtime and extend equipment life

-Manage CMMS systems, work orders, spare parts inventory, and vendor contracts

3. Team Management

-Supervise and develop maintenance teams across multiple facilities (e.g., B1–B5, W20)

-Conduct training and competency development for technicians and engineers

-Drive a culture of safety, compliance, and performance excellence

4. Regulatory & Compliance

-Ensure adherence to cGMP, US FDA, EU-GMP, and other global regulatory standards

-Lead audit readiness and support inspections by regulatory bodies

-Maintain documentation and SOPs for equipment qualification, calibration, and maintenance

5. Continuous Improvement

-Apply reliability-centered maintenance, lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to improve asset performance

-Analyze maintenance KPIs and implement corrective actions for recurring issues

-Drive sustainability initiatives and energy optimization in maintenance operations

6. Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical .

20+ years of experience in maintenance leadership within biopharma or regulated industries.

Expertise in HVAC, utilities, automation systems (e.g., DeltaV, ABB 800xA), and cleanroom operations

Strong knowledge of CMMS, GAMP 5, ISA-88, and regulatory compliance.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale projects.
