We are seeking Support Workers to support individuals with complex needs, including sensory, physical and intellectual disabilities and often challenging behaviours, living in shared accommodation.

  • Support our customers in all aspects of daily life including; maintaining their home, facilitating and attending outings and medical appointments, personal hygiene and support with daily activities whilst always demonstrating dignity and respect for our customers.
  • Communicate and engage with the customer in a relevant and meaningful way.
  • Transport participants travelling to and from activities and outings using Rocky Bay vehicles.
  • Ensure all supports and services provided are accurately documented and accounted for through time-sheets, case notes, incident reporting, etc.

We have the following rosters available currently:

Support Worker Roster = 58 hours per fortnight

Week 1 = Mon 1500-2300, Wed 0700-1400, Fri/Sat 0700-1430

Week 2 = Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu 1500-2200

Support Worker Roster = 56.5 hours per fortnight

Week 1 = Mon/Sun 1500-2200, Tue 1530-2130, Sat 1500-2300

Week 2 =  Wed/Fri 0700-1500, Thu 0700-1430, Sun 1700-2200

Support Worker Roster = 64.5 hours per fortnight

Week 1 = Mon 0700-1500, Fri/Sun 1500-2300, Sat 1500-2345

Week 2 =  Mon 1500-2345, Thu/Sat 0700-1500, Fri 0700-1400

Support Worker Roster = 63 hours per fortnight

Week 1 = Mon/Thu 1530-2130, Tue/Fri/Sat 1500-2200

  • A customer centred person who will encourage, support and organise daily activities dance classes, swimming lessons & other social events
  • Confidently drive modified vehicles to accompany clients to appointments and social occasions
  • Someone who will see the unique needs of each individual and follow their person centred plans and working towards their bigger life goals
  • Cert III in Disability/Individual Support (Disability) is highly desirable

About the role.

In this rewarding role, you will provide individualised, person-centred support to customers with complex physical, intellectual, and behavioural needs.
