Your Impact
- Educate, coach and guide leaders on our performance management and elevation efforts, while ensuring adherence to our philosophy and values

- 7+ years Employee Relations experience gained in either an HR Business Partner role or Employee Relations role

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective listener and persuasive communicator with ability to influence
- Experience managing sensitive confidential employee and company information
- Experience with employment law and effective risk management practices is a plus

As the Business Development Manager at Imarticus Learning, you will be the key driver in building strategic partnerships with companies seeking skilled talent in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Your focus will be to establish strong client relationships, identify placement opportunities for our learners, and ensure the successful placement of candidates into relevant roles. You will work closely with our Data Science & AI teams and academic faculty to align industry needs with learner capabilities and placement readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and secure new client partnerships across industries requiring Data Science and AI talent.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with HR leaders, hiring managers, and corporate decision-makers.
- Facilitate the end-to-end placement process by matching learners to appropriate internships, projects, and job roles.
- Understand client hiring needs, market trends, and evolving skill demands in Data Science and AI sectors.
- Collaborate with internal delivery and academic teams to ensure curriculum alignment with industry requirements.
- Organize and lead placement drives, corporate webinars, and networking events to showcase learner talent.
- Track placement success metrics and gather client feedback to continuously improve placement outcomes.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, recruitment fairs, and client meetings to expand business presence.
- Develop tailored proposals, pitches, and contract negotiations with prospective clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Technology, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in business development, recruitment, or client servicing—preferably in EdTech, staffing, or talent acquisition focused on Data Science, AI, or tech roles.
- Strong network or experience engaging with technology companies in data science, AI, analytics, or digital transformation domains.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with Data Science and AI industry trends and roles is highly desirable.
- Results-oriented mindset with ability to manage multiple client relationships and targets simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and virtual communication platforms.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and events as required.
