  • Lead and manage all phases of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these metrics.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of engineering teams, contractors, and consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Conduct site visits and progress assessments virtually and, if necessary, occasionally in person.
  • Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project team members, clients, and external agencies.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive remote working environment for the project team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution. A Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, bridges, water systems).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract administration, and project finance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD software.
  • Experience working effectively in a remote team setting.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality in all project aspects.
