As a part of expanding our Engineering team, we are looking for a Head of Engineering who will be responsible for keeping projects across a couple of squads on track, solving technical issues that arise, communicating with other teams and acting as an overall leader for the team. He / She will be working on multiple projects at the same time, building and managing diverse teams of engineers from different disciplines (in-house & outsourced). This role reports to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing clear and concise direction to the engineering team on their deliverable, supervising their work, and driving product releases / project completion as per the timelines decided.
• Lead technical solution designs with the entire team; be a sounding board & guide the team for any tech-related issue.
• Work closely with the product managers, engineering managers, architects and designers to refine stories, discuss, and finalize release timelines, and attend relevant meetings with stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Specification:

• Experience of building and growing a team is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, able to manage multiple stakeholders across other departments in the organization
• At least 3 years experience operating and managing production systems in a Kubernetes environment is a must have
