Perform all surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement and the complete and thorough cleanup of the painting or repair area. Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing (e.g., plunge toilets and unclog drains), electrical components including lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace electrical switches and outlets, and other guestroom items. Program TV's and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties. Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work. Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping as well as external landscaping sprinklers. Display basic computer skills including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Adhere to quality expectations and standards. **Responsibilities:**
+ Define the AI Accelerator's technical vision and roadmap. Stay current with AI, HR Tech, and cloud technologies to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance architectural solutions.
+ Recruit and lead a team of AI/ML engineers and scientists. Mentor talent, foster a culture of innovation, optimize processes, and support team career growth.
+ Oversee the complete development lifecycle of AI products. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business needs while identifying and mitigating technical risks.
+ Work with product managers to create technical specifications from business requirements. Partner with stakeholders and other teams to ensure seamless integration and adherence to enterprise standards.
+ Implement monitoring for production AI models. Manage budgets, resource allocation, and project planning to drive operational efficiency.

**Main Purpose:**
+ Manage the Protection Relay Design Team based in India: a team of Hardware, Firmware, Software and Applications Engineers working on Protection and Control devices for Low and Medium Voltage applications (this team will be integrated with the Protection Relay Design Team based in Spain, and led by the Engineering Director of Protection Relays R&D)
+ Providing strong engineering leadership, people management, and ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance with their Project Charters.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Build a world-class design team for protection and control devices for low and medium voltage applications.
+ Demonstrate strong engineering leadership and people management skills.
+ Ensure all product development projects/work packages assigned to them meet budget, operational, and quality standards.
+ Foster seamless collaboration within local and global engineering groups to facilitate communication of technical and business information, designs and best practices while managing multiple product development projects.
+ Work cross-functionally with global engineering teams, systems engineering, program managers, technology leaders, and downstream operations and support teams to ensure on-time execution with on-target quality and cost of programs.
+ Influence decision-making through active partnership with cross-functional teams.
+ Manage resources by working closely with project stakeholders to assign, monitor, and continually assess multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Instil a rigorous design process mindset and align with Wabtec and international standards/practices.
+ Set goals and objectives for the team aligned with business goals, and monitor them to ensure successful deliverables
+ Define roles and responsibilities for direct reports, conduct performance appraisals, participate in salary planning, and promote professional growth through timely feedback, coaching, mentoring, and guiding.
+ Ensure company compliance initiatives and training requirements are implemented within the group.
+ Act as the change agent for the team by continuously improving tools, methodologies, and processes in collaboration with the engineering leadership team.
**Minimum Qualifications / Professional Experience:**
+ Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Controls Engineering.
+ Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the engineering and product development domains, ideally in the Power & Energy industry, but could be railway, automotive, aerospace, or other similar industries.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering leadership/management role with people management for small to medium-sized project teams particularly in the areas of Embedded Systems & Software, Electronics Hardware, Numerical relays, protection circuits and similar fields.
+ Demonstrable expertise in the field of electrical protection system
**Competencies Professional / Personal:**
+ Effective communication and analytical skills, along with a thorough understanding of the overall product development cycle.
+ Proven experience managing design teams and building close working relationships to drive and nurture positive relations with other business units.
+ Proven experience in delivering high-quality product designs with a comprehensive understanding of project management principles.
+ Sound understanding of the product design process, including testing and validation.
+ Ready to travel occasionally within India and abroad.
+ Experience working with Global Engineering teams spread across geographies and multiple sites is an advantage
