Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate key transaction documents such as offer documents, underwriting agreements, prospectuses, and other ECM-related agreements.
Advise on and assist with equity market transactions, including IPOs, QIPs, rights issues, and follow-on public offerings (FPOs).
Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, stock exchange listing requirements, and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
Liaise with clients, stock exchanges, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
Conduct legal research to stay updated on securities law developments and evolving market practices.
Provide strategic legal advice on transaction structuring and regulatory implications.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: LL.B. or equivalent qualification from a reputed law school.
Experience:
2–5 years of relevant experience in Equity Capital Markets or Capital Markets - Equity at a leading law firm.
Note: Candidates with in-house experience will not be considered.
Core Skills:
Strong knowledge of SEBI regulations, equity market transactions, and listing processes.
Expertise in drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
Soft Skills:
Ability to handle multiple transactions under tight deadlines.
