Job Summary

Responsible for accounting and accounts payable (Vendor registration/set up/payments/reconciliations)

Responsibilities

  • Good knowledge in accounting.
  • Handle Accounts Payable exclusively including vendor registration/set up/payments/reconciliation
  • Maintain Purchase & GST accounts, records, reports related to input tax credit.
  • Support in monthly MIS
  • Handle weekly payments covering aging, due date management, fund management, hold payments, bank payment process, payment accounting, sharing payment advises, addressing payment queries, vendor account reconciliation.
  • Develop and implement new ideas/innovations in day-to-day activities
  • Support in audit
  • Basic Qualifications

  • Finance from reputed institution with post qualification work experience between 3 & 5 years
  • Thorough knowledge in Tally
  • SAP knowledge
  • MS Office Skills
  • Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

    Based in our Shared Service Center at Mohali,,the person in this position is responsible for day to day Finance & Accounting activities, Audits, Legal & Statutory Compliances.     + Handling daily accounting of purchases invoices
    + Keep the track of all the expenses that need to be back charged.

    + Support month close activities which mainly include Fixed Assets module closing, monthly provision entries
    + Assist in providing SEZ related information
    + Legal & Statutory Compliances which mainly include compliances under SEZ, Income Tax, GST etc.
    + Create monthly cashflows and also planned budget vs Actuals.
    + Create POs for services as applicable. (TBD)
    + Audits data preparation
    + Handling bank reconciliation and keep the records up to date.
    + Dealing with External Agencies, custom officers whenever required
    + Record retention for Finance at Mohali

    **For This Role, You Will Need:**
    + Master's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounts or related field
    + 5-6 years of Demonstrable experience in Finance & Accounting function with a focus on Compliances, Audits, routine accounting activities
    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    **Preferred Qualifications:**
    + Proven knowledge of Oracle or any other ERP such as SAP
    + In-depth understanding of compliances under SEZ, Income Tax & GST
