Position Overview:
- The CEO will be responsible for leading the company and setting its future direction.
- In this role, the CEO will manage a wide range of businesses and drive major changes to support growth and improvement.
- Key priorities will include expanding the business, developing better products, improving efficiency, and building strong partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with the group to establish and communicate the vision and long-term strategy of Company, aligning the company's business objectives with industry trends.
- Lead the company’s growth strategy with the aim of achieving over 5x revenue growth from INR 1500 Cr approx. over the next 4-5 years, by identifying and capitalizing on key growth drivers across all business segments.
- Oversee the company’s transition from ICE technologies to EV, hybrid, ensuring the company is positioned as a leader in the future of mobility.
Financial Management & Profitability:
- Maintain a bottom line of over 2-digit EBITDA, ensuring that financial metrics are met and optimized through effective cost management and revenue growth strategies.
- Implement financial processes and business practices to close any operational gaps, enhancing productivity, reducing inefficiencies, and maximizing profitability across all units.
Business Development & Key Relationships:
- Build and develop strong relationships with key OEMs.
- Lead the establishment, negotiation, and managing JVs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, strategic growth, and shared goals.
- Strengthen customer relationships and drive customer satisfaction to enhance brand loyalty and market share.
Business Acumen:
- Exceptional strategic thinking and business development skills, with the ability to envision long-term goals and devise actionable plans for growth and profitability.
- Experience in financial management with a strong understanding of EBITDA, P&L management, cost control, and scalability.
- Experience in scaling businesses, particularly within emerging markets.
- Track record of success in driving both organic and inorganic growth through market strategies, mergers, acquisitions, etc.
Leadership & Culture Building:
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead teams, drive a culture of accountability and high performance, and build a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Strong leadership skills in managing large organizations through periods of transformation and change.
Sustainability :
- Integrate sustainability into every aspect of the business, from product development to operations.
- Ensure that the company’s efforts are aligned with global sustainability goals, reducing its environmental footprint and capitalizing on the green mobility revolution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be a full-time graduate in engineering. A postgraduate qualification from a premier institute will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience as a CEO or in an executive leadership role within the Automotive sector for the last 8 years.
