• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and custodial staff.
• Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for all building systems and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.
• Oversee and perform repairs related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of all facilities, including common areas, restrooms, and workspaces.
• Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.

• Provide remote technical support and guidance to on-site maintenance teams for a wide range of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues based on descriptions and data provided by on-site personnel.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, repairs, and preventative services performed by external contractors and in-house technicians.
• Manage and track work orders using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
• Oversee the inventory of spare parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for common repairs.
• Monitor building systems remotely through IoT platforms and building automation systems (BAS) where applicable.
• Communicate effectively with property managers, tenants, and vendors regarding maintenance requests and progress.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for various facility assets.
• Review and approve maintenance reports and invoices from vendors.
• Identify opportunities for improving facility operations and reducing maintenance costs.
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and budget adherence.

• Trade certification or vocational training in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or a related building maintenance field.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance and repair.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose a wide range of building systems and equipment issues.
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar work order management software.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of building infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, essential for remote interaction.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with remote monitoring and control systems (BAS, IoT) is highly desirable.
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and building codes.
• Experience managing third-party contractors and vendors.
• Basic understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with maintenance management software is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in a relevant field is preferred.
