The Purpose:
As the Finance Analyst, your role is to provide critical support to the Finance Business Partners by preparing, analysing, and reporting on AP+’s financial performance. This role delivers targeted strategic insights for key operational lines of business, drawing on analysis of business and operational performance, industry dynamics, macro-economic trends, and the competitor landscape.
The Finance Analyst is pivotal in enabling informed decision-making and driving business performance through robust financial analysis and effective business partnering.
The core accountabilities of the role will include:
- Prepare and report on budgeting, forecasting, and financial business reviews, focusing on AP+ profitability drivers.
- Assist in providing financial support for commercial agreements, business case development, and decision support for operational lines of business.
- Support FP&A Business Partners in translating business matters and decisions into financial impacts and metrics.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with operational business lines and key stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with the broader finance team to ensure alignment of reporting and financial operations.

The capabilities needed to be successful for this role are:

- Deep knowledge of the payments technology, IT systems and the financial industry.
