The Oracle Application Functional Analyst engages the business in defining the business processes and systems required to support, enable, and advance the profitable growth of MoneyGram. The incumbent assists in leading and driving Oracle Financials projects and systems improvements that will enhance business performance. The incumbent will also assist in defining optimal technology solutions to meet business requirements and to improve business performance. TheOracle Application Functional Analyst acts as the primary IT liaison to the business function and provides ongoing system support.

What you will get to do : 

  • Assists in leading and providing support for Core and Custom Oracle Apps Financial modules (GL, AP, PO modules) and MGI custom applications.
  • Participates in Business Systems Analyst/Techno-functional consultant capacity in projects to implement new or modified custom applications.
  • Participates in Business Systems Analyst/Techno-functional consultant capacity in projects to roll out standard Oracle eBusiness Suite modules.
  • Acts as a functional consultant for addressing production issues, new business implementations, and development projects.
  • Assists the business owners in identifying requirements for new and enhanced functionality needs for standard and custom applications.
  • Identifies the impact of Oracle Apps Financial development requests on other application functionality for standard and custom applications.
  • Creates functional design documentation to assist the technical team in developing new and enhanced functionality for standard and custom applications.
  • Provides training to advanced users regarding new functionality and enhancements in standard and custom applications.
  • Establishes a thorough understanding of MoneyGram’s business processes, the systems used to support those processes, and the connection of those processes to other business functions. This base of business processes and systems includes all MoneyGram locations worldwide.
  • Compiles cross-functional business requirements into definable, executable technology solutions that are consistent with MoneyGram’s long-term architecture strategy.
  • Works with the business functions to prioritize the development of defined technology solutions according to relative business impact.
  • Completes requirements definition and functional design documentation for prioritized technology solutions.
  • Leads the development team in understanding the business requirements as relates to the functional area.
  • Establishes and maintains a close working relationship with business partners at management and end user levels.
  • Institutes regular communication and user group meetings with business partners.
  • Educates business partners on systems capabilities and the feasibility of developing specific solutions.
  • Updates business on the progress of IT activities.
  • Provides Level 3 support to the business functions for implemented applications.
  • Provides guidance to level 2 and level 1 application support as necessary.

  • Who you are : 

  • Bachelors’ Degree Information Systems, Business or relevant discipline, or comparable combination of education and work experience
  • Experience

  • Minimum 5-7 years IT analyst experience, preferably in a financial services firm.
  • 3-5 years’ experience supporting the Accounts Payable, General Ledger transactions, and procurement functions.
  • Experience with iProcurement,and iSupplier, preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience working within an integrated suite of business applications, Oracle eBusiness Suite

    Qualifications

    We are looking for a Lead Quantitative Developer to architect and oversee the development of highly reliable and scalable risk infrastructure that supports front-office decision-making across asset classes—including equities, commodities, fixed income, and FX. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about building robust systems that deliver accurate pricing, risk, and analytics under production constraints.

    You will lead a small team of quants responsible for delivering and maintaining the quantitative backbone of our platform. This includes model calibration pipelines, EOD risk jobs, lifecycle management, regression testing, and configurable modeling workflows—all designed for performance, reliability, and extensibility in a front-office environment.

    What You'll Do

    • Own the architecture, design, and delivery of the quant infrastructure powering front-office risk and analytics.
    • Build scalable frameworks for valuation, risk, scenario analysis, and lifecycle modeling across multiple asset classes.
    • Ensure platform reliability through robust EOD processing pipelines, model calibration workflows, and automated regression testing.
    • Lead and mentor a team of quantitative developers focused on delivering production-quality, client-facing analytics.
    • Implement standards for versioning, model governance, and platform health monitoring to ensure system integrity over time.
    • Design flexible infrastructure to support client-specific configurations without compromising performance or maintainability.

    • 5+ years of experience in quantitative development or financial engineering with broad asset class exposure.

    • Experience building and operating quantitative infrastructure in production environments—especially for pricing and risk analytics.
