Role Overview
The Product Manager will drive the strategic growth and market success of assigned brands, with an emphasis on generic pharmaceuticals and OTC (over-the-counter) products. The role involves end-to-end management from conceptualization and launch to lifecycle and portfolio enhancement. Cross-functional coordination, regulatory compliance, and market analysis will be key requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement product marketing strategies and business plans for generic and OTC product segments.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify opportunities for portfolio expansion and differentiation.
- Oversee the launch of new generic and OTC products, from regulatory approval through campaign planning and market introduction.
- Manage all aspects of product lifecycle including new introductions, line extensions, phase-outs, and improvement of existing brands.
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs for documentation, approvals, and staying up-to-date on regulatory requirements in generics and OTC segments.
- Create and manage promotional, advertising, and educational materials for doctors, pharmacies, and trade channels – including ATL/BTL and digital campaigns.
- Provide product training and support for sales teams to maximize visibility and product adoption.
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), pharmacy partners, and distributors to improve brand presence, access, and feedback loops.
- Monitor the performance of assigned products through sales analytics, inventory management, and market feedback, recommending corrective actions when needed.
- Monitor customer feedback and market trends in OTC products, driving innovative improvements and high customer satisfaction.
- Represent Curewell Biotech in industry events, trade shows, and professional forums.
Desired Candidate Profile
- B Pharma degree is mandatory.
- MBA in Pharma Marketing/Management is required.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical product management, with demonstrable exposure to generics and OTC portfolios.
- Working knowledge of product lifecycle, regulatory compliance, marketing strategy, and market dynamics for generics and OTC.
- Creative mindset with ability to design effective promotional and customer outreach campaigns.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in cross-functional teamwork and multitasking.

About the role
Reporting to Business Unit Head, the role will be responsible to develop, maintain and manage a 3X funnel based on vendor's set revenue targets, quantify marketing investments, drive, and set objectives for each marketing activity.

Attain certification for Vendor's Sales Training
- Prepare and/or supervise preparation of quotations.
- Qualify need for POC, coordinate and arrange demo unit, pre-sales resource.
Set POC objectives with customer based on:
Target loan duration of 2 weeks
Track and report status of outstanding loans on a monthly or per request basis
- Managing key stakeholders for the line of business
- Coordinate identification and development of assigned vendors' Focus Partners
- Coordinate and co-deliver updates and training to partners
- Quantify marketing investments, drive and set objectives for each marketing activity
- CIO/CTO/Technical Evaluators are involved in first meeting
- Strategic named accounts where vendors have indicated they want to be engaged from start of opportunity
- Expected closure within the same quarter.
