We are looking for a Technical Implementation Specialist to join our growing global team at Sectigo.

The Technical Implementation Specialist will collaborate with some of the best and brightest in the industry to develop and test custom integration solutions for the Sectigo Customers. Working at Sectigo is both challenging and rewarding. As a global provider of cloud-based solutions for human and machine identity management, we have a 20-year history as a top Certificate Authority, authenticating every device, user, and application, across the networks of Fortune 1000 brands. 

This is a full-time and in-office position based in our Chennai office. The primary working hours and schedule is targeted from 1PM to 9PM IST, Monday to Friday, and may be aligned to other time zones based on ongoing company initiatives and customer demands.  

Here are the core functions, responsibilities, and expectations for this role: 

  • Integrate and develop test strategies to test Sectigo Products with third-party products in the key management areas including Digital certificates, SSH keys, DevOps, Cloud Security, Key Vaults, Container Orchestration Tools, Virtual Environments and HSM.
  • Closely working with Sectigo Dev, QA and Sales team to develop environments to test integration and end-to-end solutions on a Cloud Infrastructures like AWS, Azure and Google Platform.
  • Developing test automation for Sectigo Products using Python, DevOps or other test automation tools.
  • Develop custom scripts/tools as part of the integration that are portable to run on different operating systems (Windows, Linux and Mac).
  • Willing to learn and research security related topics relevant to the integration work.
  • Other duties as assigned and related to the nature of this role and company initiatives.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Development or equivalent technical degree or equivalent work experience is strongly preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of proven work experience as a Security Software Test Engineer or Quality Assurance Engineer is required.
  • Knowledge of the IT Security concepts, particularly Digital Certificates, Encryption, Digital Signature, Confidentiality and Integrity.
  • Solid hands-on experience working with Cloud Infrastructure technologies like VPN Gateway, Load Balancer, Container Orchestration, Data Storage etc.
  • Good understanding of Open-source security products like OpenSSL, Open CA, EJBCA etc.
  • Experience automating using one or more of the following tools: Python, DevOps, Shell, Bash and PowerShell SDKs for AWS and Azure APIs.
  • Good knowledge of web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services and Service Oriented Architectures), OSI model and application/network protocols.
  • Experience in Microsoft CA or any PKI based products is considered an asset.
  • Experience in Sectigo Enterprise Products and Services is considered an asset,
  • Holding an Industry Standard Certification in security domain is considered an asset. Example: CCSP, Security+.

    What You’ll Own & Drive
    • Client Implementation & Onboarding : Lead the end-to-end technical onboarding of ecommerce brands and retailers using Base.com.

    • Custom Integration & Scripting : Build and customize integrations using PHP or Python to tailor workflows and systems to customer needs.

    • Platform Enhancements : Work closely with global teams to test, improve, and evolve core product functionalities for Indian users.

    • Workflow Automation : Leverage our vast integration suite and APIs to automate complex operations across commerce, logistics, accounting, and CRM systems.

    • Solution Consulting : Act as a technical advisor to clients, helping them configure and adopt our solutions effectively.

    • Performance Optimization : Ensure code and systems are built with speed, stability, and scalability in mind.
    Who You Are
    • Tech-First Problem Solver : You love solving customer pain points through hands-on tech implementation and scripting.

    • Experienced & Independent : 2–5 years of experience in ecommerce SaaS implementation with strong self-management in a remote setup.

    • Languages You Speak : Proficient in PHP or Python, comfortable working with REST APIs, Git, and MySQL.

    • Customer Obsessed : You see the product through the eyes of the end-user and optimize for value delivery.

    • Multilingual Communicator : Fluent in English (B2+), and at least one of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, or Bengali.

    • Bonus Points : Familiarity with ecommerce systems, marketplace operations, or prior exposure to BaseLinker.
