We are seeking a Senior Information Technology System Administrator for our client Semiconductor company a full-time position located in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should have between 7 to 10 years of work experience. This role requires an expert to manage and oversee our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal operation and security across all systems.
Network Design and Implementation
Design, implement, and maintain Linux / Windows Servers.
Develop and deploy DNS,NIS,NFS,AD,LDAP,SQL,FTP,In house Cloud
servers along with hypervisors and containers/VMs and other servers.
Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to integrate sytem
administration services with other technologies.
System Monitoring and Maintenance
Monitor user accounts, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system
performance and debug security related issues.
Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including firmware and
software updates, patch management, and system backups.
Ensure system uptime and provide ontime support for clients
Technical Support and Troubleshooting
Provide advanced technical support for system issues and incidents.
Diagnose and resolve complex system/OS related problems in a
timely manner.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of servers,client
machines, changes, and procedures.
Training and Mentoring
Provide training and mentorship to junior system administrators and
other IT staff.
Stay updated with the latest system administration methodologies and
trends, and share knowledge with the team.
Develop and deliver training sessions and materials to enhance team

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
field. Advanced certifications (e.g., RHEL/LPIC/MCSE) are preferred.
Experience:
7+ years of experience in network engineering, with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing advanced servers machines.
Extensive experience with security policy enforcement/deployment
