Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ahmedabad for a Supply Chain Engineer. The Supply Chain Engineer will be responsible for optimizing and managing supply chain processes, evaluating and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Additionally, the role includes overseeing inventory management, improving operational efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain activities.

Role & responsibilities

* Coordinating with 3PLs/CFAs for in time supplies to customers.

* Settlement of Rate difference I Scheme difference / Expiry claims of customers

* Ensuring timely solution of customer queries.

* Periodical visit to 3PLs / CFAs.

* Monitoring & Tracking of Transit Damages & co-ordination with Logistic and insurance department for recovery.

* SAP Trailing to New business partners.

* Testing of new development in SAP

* Monthly MIS preparaiton related to 3PL / CFA performance

Responsibilities
:

• Track shipments of commercial and promotional pharmaceutical products across various transport and courier partners.

• Ensure timely collection and verification of Proof of Delivery (POD) for all dispatches and maintain organized records for audit and compliance purposes.

• Identify shipment-related issues such as delays, damages, cold chain breaches, or documentation discrepancies.

• Collaborate with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), including third-party transporters and courier agencies, to resolve delivery issues promptly.

• Coordinate with internal departments such as Sales, Regulatory, Warehouse, and Supply Planning teams to ensure smooth order execution and delivery.

• Maintain shipment tracking reports, POD logs, and performance dashboards as per SOPs.

• Ensure adherence to Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and applicable pharma logistics regulations.

• Support product traceability, recalls, or market returns by maintaining accurate and retrievable logistics records.

Experience
:

Minimum 6 months to 2 years in SCM department with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Ensure adherence to Dispatch Requirements and PM requirements from ASRS
• Ensure adherence to CQA Quality Standards inside ASRS
• Manpower handling and Optimize Manpower utilization
• Ensure Online SAP-EWM transactions and OEM Software transactions
• Ensure the ASRS cranes and systems are maintained with above 99% uptime
• Ensure 5S and GMP in ASRS area
• All Mechanical Equipment to be maintained in Good safe working conditions
