**Creating value from business-driven data and analytics initiatives at scale.** An important task for the India D&A leader is to support the business and other stakeholders in their solving their business problems via relevant data & analytics. This means they will support the business during various stages. In the inspiration phase they help the business in identifying the right use cases and support prioritization based on feasibility and value. In the ideation phase they help with the development of a minimum viable product and business case. During the implementation phase they make sure the service or product is adopted (by the employees), embedded in the workflow (process) and measured for impact.
**Raise the level of data coverage, usage, easy access and literacy in the organization** . To become data driven the organization needs employees who can identify, understand and speak data. It will be critical to understand wide variety of diverse and most important _data sources and constructs, analytical methods and techniques in order to drive analytics at scale whether it is bespoke analytics scaled solutions or minimum viable products or self service by employees including analysts, data scientists or functional employees at large._ Activities include identifying key datasets, building reusable data assets, education and coaching of the employees to become more "data-savvy" and facilitating data-centric business thinking while accelerating pervasive and bespoke analytics.

**Product Delivery**
+ Through effective leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams, drive the development and implementation of innovative data analytics solutions, predictive models, and reporting frameworks to support business objectives and enhance performance across various teams and functions
+ Deliver high quality business value focused products like MMM (Market Mix Modelling - ATL and BTL), RGM (Revenue Growth Management), and Sales Suggested Order, Trade Spends optimisation etc. Setting up and management of data lake.
+ Manage relationships with internal IT teams (GIT, GSSO) to ensure implementation and commercialization of tools and ideas
+ Ensure all initiatives have clearly defined operational and financial metrics to measure success
**Expand Knowledge and Innovation**
+ Demonstrate benefits of using Analytics to drive measurable value for customers and employees and how this operating model can be translated to other parts of the business
+ Keep track of the key developments in the data, tech and analytics space to continually identify new ideas, tools, trends that could provide opportunities for the organization
+ Continually expanding knowledge and learning throughout the organization and leading CP India towards becoming a stronger digital and analytics powered organization
**People**
+ Lead a team of Data Analysts and Data Scientists to help deliver on the mandate
+ Cascade overall functional goals for team, set up objective goals and conduct periodic performance reviews
+ Communicate regularly with team members to provide organizational/functional updates, resolve conflicts and drive engagement and motivation
+ Guide team members and help them develop their skills and abilities, and help them grow professionally by providing opportunities for growth and fulfilling career path
+ Attract & retain top talent
**What does the ideal candidate profile look like?**
+ Ability to act as a bridge between business functions and the analytics team, effectively communicating and aligning business objectives with data driven decision making capabilities
+ An expert storyteller with 8+ years of mixed experience in Data and Analytics (sales, marketing or business).
+ Strong technical skills with robust understanding of GCP, neural networks, forecasting, segmentation, regression etc
+ Experience in a MNC having managed the complexity of a corporate role. Preference for FMCG experience
+ Deep experience in leading critical projects and building high performing teams in an agile environment
