Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control quality in fabrication, welding, painting, and assembly processes
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process work, and final assemblies
- Lead internal audits, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Establish quality plans, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and inspection checklists for each project.
- Coordinate with design, production, and project teams to ensure compliance with drawings, codes, and client requirements
- Manage calibration of instruments and ensure traceability of records
- Conduct supplier quality assessments and vendor evaluations
- Train and mentor QA/QC personnel at plant and site locations
- Generate and maintain all documentation required for project handover and certification
Requirements
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in QA/QC within PEB, steel fabrication, or industrial construction
- Strong knowledge of IS codes , welding standards, and inspection methodologies
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, NDT methods, and fabrication tolerances
