Roles and Responsibility

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using various tools and technologies.
• Administer and manage Kubernetes clusters, including deployments and scaling.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Linux command line tools and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of DevOps systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards.

Job Requirements

• Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking and containerization.
• Experience with database deployments and management.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of Blue Green and Canary deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with OpenStack and cloud-native technologies.

Bachelor/masters degree in computer science with over 3 years of development experience working in commercial software company More than 3 years of hands-on experience in CICD area is preferred. Familiar with one or more security testing tools such as Fortify, Coverity, White source, Black Duck is a plus Familiar with one or more build tools such as MS build, Ant, Maven, Gradle, Experience of operating cloud native technology landscapes is preferred Deep Kubernetes and container technology (Docker) skills Deep practical experiences with UNIX and LINUX operating systems including hands-on experience writing scripts (bash, python, etc.) Hands on experience with at least one of the following programming languages Java, Golang, and Python Familiar with Groovy, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, HTML or CSS is a big plus. As a CI/CD Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) automation infrastructure to support ServiceChannel's Software Engineering team. You will work with a cross functional team to deliver scalable automation solutions to enable rapid development, configuration management of the source code and supporting test, deployment and production sustaining activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and maintain a scalable, stable set of build, test and deploy jobs for the ServiceChannel Engineering team
• Own, extend and maintain the Azure based infrastructure hosting the CI/CD tools and ensure we have scalable, global infrastructure to support our product and development team needs
• Extend the build system for new application initiatives if/when needed.
• Take ownership of core automation tools such as Github, Team City, Octopus Deploy, ProGet and extend/maintain as needed
• Ensure the infrastructure is secure, recoverable (disaster, data) and maintained (security patches, tool upgrades, etc.) and highly automated

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6+yrs of experience, Strong knowledge of Git (and repo) configuration management tool
• Strong knowledge of cloud base Git hosting providers and branch management and merging.
• Experience with Powershell scripting
• Experience with .NET
• Knowledge of Mobile software lifecycle and continuous integration practices; prior experience with publishing applications to commercial App Stores such as Apple App Store and/or Google Play is extremely helpful
• Ability to provide leadership in a team environment to meet goals and deadlines
• Prior experience with security tools and code signing is extremely helpful
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering and/or equivalent industry experience is preferred
