**Detailed Description and Job Requirement**
Supports the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle cloud computing environment (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - OCI). Primarily focused on the development and support of network fabric and systems through a combination of a strong understanding of networking at the protocol level coupled with programming skills to support the intensive automation required to operate a production environment. As OCI is a cloud-based network with a global footprint, this support will include hundreds of thousands of network devices supporting millions of servers, connected over a mix of dedicated backbone infrastructure and the Internet.
Participate in Network lifecycle management through network build and/or upgrade projects. Using existing procedures and tooling, develop and safely execute network changes. Attend and contribute to the related projects and sprint planning. Develop and improve runbooks and methods of procedures. Assist in the onboarding of new team members. Regularly participate in network solution design review and provide feedback. Participate in operational rotations in either primary or secondary positions. Provide break-fix support for events. Triage event tickets and remediate or escalate as needed. Support root causes analysis as required. Leverage existing tooling and automation to execute critical tasks, such as device upgrades. Preference for individuals with experience in scripting and network automation - Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible.

+ Customer-specific designated support at network level to troubleshoot and resolve networking problems.
+ Dedicatedly monitor and review the network.
+ Effectively work with multi-functional teams to resolve major customer issues.
+ Ability to grasp network design concepts quickly and be able to provide the right solutions to the clients.
+ Effectively craft and validate planned changes to software and hardware design.
+ Deliver high level technical assistance and troubleshooting for resolving critical production issues for strategic customers.
+ Respond to network management system alarms according to established processes.
+ Flexibility in working hours to work in a 24x7 environment.
+ Data Center - Nexus Routing & Switching is mandatory.
+ Strong hands-on skills in Cisco Nexus Technologies (vPC, vDC, STP, vRF) Strong hands-on skills in routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS) .
+ Good knowledge on Cisco ACI Technologies (Tenants, EPGs, BDs, vRFs)
+ Working knowledge on Cisco ACI Multi-pod & Multisite.
+ Experience in product lines like Nexus 9000 switches.
+ Cisco certifications is mandatory CCNA /CCNP(Enterprise/DC).
+ Good understanding in overall data center infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Server, Firewall, Load balancers).
**Preferred Skills and Experience**
+ Comfortable using tools like Solarwind, Cisco Nexus Dashboard (desired).
+ Working experience in vxLAN EPVN and MP-BGP is a definite plus
+ Ability to handle data center ACI complex troubleshooting (added advantage).
+ Experience with BGP, Software Defined Networking (SDN) based on Cisco ACI, Checkpoint/Cisco Firepower firewalls, F5 load Balancers, NSX
+ Experience with Ansible automation.
