The role focuses on enhancing productivity, reducing costs, ensuring quality, and implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 practices across manufacturing units.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end production operations ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
- Drive Manufacturing Excellence initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and automation projects.
- Ensure effective capacity utilization, OEE improvement, and productivity enhancement across all production lines.
- Establish and monitor KPI metrics (quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale) for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to ensure smooth NPD (New Product Development) introduction into manufacturing.
- Implement digital manufacturing / Industry 4.0 practices for process optimization.
- Develop and implement cost reduction strategies through value engineering and waste elimination.
- Build and mentor high-performance teams, ensuring skill development and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards and statutory regulations.
- Benchmark best-in-class global manufacturing practices and adapt them to the tractor industry.
- Key Skills & Competencies:
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of ERP/MES systems, digital manufacturing, and automation.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Proven track record in leading large-scale production units and implementing world-class manufacturing practices.
- Certified in Lean / Six Sigma (preferred).

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Quality Supervisor with a strong background in garment manufacturing, particularly in the sportswear and activewear industry. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years of experience in quality control, ensuring that every garment meets the highest standards in stitching, design accuracy, logo placement, and sizing compliance.
WORK LOCATION: On-site - Jalandhar, Punjab, India
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Min. 5 Industry years
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To check every garment being manufactured in the unit for quality parameters against stitching, design and logo placements etc.
- To make sure that each garment is made according to the size guide and patterns.
- To maintain proper quality checks on each step - Cutting, Bundling, In Line Stitching, Finishing etc.
- To appoint and train assistant quality supervisors who will head each department and make sure that assistants generate and maintain daily reports as desired by the management.
- To make sure that no faulty garments gets dispatched from premises under any circumstances.
- To make sure to check the fabrics get checked for Shrinkage and colour bleedings before the final production is cut.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must have relevant job experience of no less than 5 years.
- Candidates from Sportswear / Activewear industry shall be given preference.
- Candidate must have experience of handling multiple styles running at the same time such as - T shirts, Track Suits, Single Jersy garments, Trousers etc.
- Candidates with education background BSC textiles / National Institute Of Fashion Technology will be given preference
