About the Role

:

The role is a part of the Global Marketing team in GSSO. The Global Marketing team is focused on driving topline revenue and increasing seller productivity.

The Marketing Specialist will operationally support the program by helping partners in sales drive the right audience into these programs. The ideal candidate is process oriented, an excellent communicator, highly collaborative, data driven and can work in a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Marketing who is responsible for leading this team in India.

What you will do:

Operations

  • Drive higher new business and win rates by collaborating with and empowering Sales through invitational programs.

  • Drive execution to ensure that requests for audience participation in marketing programs meet qualification criteria.

  • Work with cross functional partners in sales, program strategy/ execution and events to ensure an integrated approach to the way we support our teams throughout the nomination and approvals process.

  • Brainstorm new ways to improve processes to maximize operational efficiency.

  • Drive automation and process efficiency programs to improve overall process

  • Reporting and Tracking

  • Track weekly progress around nominations and registrations goals and communicate to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Drive quantitative data analysis using common tools such as Excel to deep dive into data trends and insights

  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  • Building strong partnerships with sales, conference and program partners

  • What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field with strong written and verbal communication.

  • 2-3 years of marketing operations, and/or automation related experience.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM to manage the cases, reports, dashboards and workflow optimization.

You’ll do this by understanding marketing requirements and using our existing data infrastructure stack to get access to the right data in the right format and cadence. 

    What You Will do:

  • Build user data sets by accessing various databases and tables in our data warehouse

  • Create integrations to our marketing platforms using various methods 

  • Support marketing strategy by having a deep understanding of our data universe and 1P data on our users

  • Monitor data integration health across our key systems


  • What You Will Need:

  • 2 - 4 years of relevant experience, with database marketing, automation or analytics

  • Experience working on SQL queries 

  • Strong competence with data tools like Data Warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc), Automation Tools (Workato, Zapier, etc), Analytics Technology (Google Analytics, Snowplow, etc)

  • Experience with integrations and APIs

  • Understanding of data segmentation, email marketing, marketing campaign analysis, and relational databases is preferred

  • Very high level of organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills and storytelling ability that is fact-based, insight-rich, comprehensive, and solution-oriented

    YOUR TASKS
    As Marketing Specialiste-commerce in the business unit Independent Aftermarket (IAM) you are responsible for different customers (with focus on Amazon).
    You act as central interface between marketing, data management and sales and coordinate marketing campaigns across the various sales channels

    You analyze the data quality/content (IDQ) on all Amazon marketplaces and initiate improvement measures

    You support the creation and maintenance of A+ content, virtual bundles (cross-selling) and variations to promote sales and expand the range of products
    You consolidate existing marketing materials to make it available for usage in e-commerce sales channel for e-commerce usage
    You evaluate the effects of content optimization by tracking defined KPIs, e.g., sales quantity and value based on volume and sales development
    YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
    High affinity to e-commerce
    First experience in a comparable position, ideally in the automotive sector
    Knowledge of online marketing, SEO, SEA and social media
    Ability to work in a team, high customer affinity and creative thinking
    Fluent in business English, ideally also knowledge of German
