**The Staff Manufacturing Engineer -** is a key member of the Technical Sourcing Engineering (TSE) team responsible for the technical management of our Mechanical and Electronics supply base. They will drive engineering support on new product lines through risk mitigation efforts, cost savings initiatives, product scale-up, resolving quality issues, supplier development, and supplier consolidation.
**What will you do?**
+ As part of the technical sourcing engineering team you will work closely with R&D, product development, quality, procurement and commodity managers to align the global sourcing strategy and supply base to drive cost reduction, manufacturing scale-up, and resolve supplier quality issues.
+ Primary focus will be on laser, optical, electromechanical components, electromechanical assemblies, motors, power management, controls and OEM assemblies.
+ Focus will be on instruments and equipment in AIG and GSG Divisions.
+ Travel will be up to 20% global.
**EDUCATION**
Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
**EXPERIENCE**
+ BS with 8+ years experience, or, MS with 6+ years' experience: hands-on product design, product development, and manufacturing experience
+ Experience in either: Product design, Electromechanical assembly design or systems design
+ Strong project management skills
+ Proven expereicne in optical parts ( i.e. lasers, mirrors, filters, lenses, etc )
+ Proven ability to handle vendors, contract manufacturers, and design firms
+ Value engineering, process development, should-cost modeling experience, DFA/DFM/DFx experience
+ Relevant experience handling suppliers and contract manufacturers
+ Experience working with mechanical devices that are supervised by third-party agencies such as FDA, NSF, CSA, UL, ISO 13485 standard and others in the medical products industry
+ Understanding of phase gate development processes and methodologies across multiple fields and subject matters is helpful.
+ Medical devices experience preferred
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
+ Experience with PCR, Protein and Cell Analysis and Sample Preparation instruments and equipment a plus
+ Proficiency in CAD Design software, SolidWorks, Pro/e, or equivalent
+ Negotiation: Ability to negotiate cost and build should cost models for sourced materials
+ Independence: Can work without direct supervision under ambiguous demands within a global organization

We are seeking a **Senior Staff Verification Engineer** to lead and contribute to the functional verification of **complex SoC and IP designs** for next-generation **AI, HPC, and data center** products. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in **UVM/SystemVerilog** , SoC and IP-level verification, and is passionate about ensuring **first-pass silicon success** .
This role involves defining verification strategies, developing scalable environments, and collaborating cross-functionally with architecture, design, and software teams. **Experience with Virtual Modeling, SystemC, and TLM** is a **plus** , enabling advanced verification and early system-level validation.
Qualifications

Qualifications
+ BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech in Electrical/Electronics or Equivalent
+ Role : Design Engineer 2, Digital Physical Desing
+ Responsibilities
+ Block level Netlist to GDS delivery
+ Subsystem level PnR and timing closure
+ Required Skills
+ 3+ years of experience in PnR and STA
+ Handson experience in RTL/Netlist to GDS delivery of blocks
+ Good exposure to Placement, CTS and Routing techniques
+ Capable of doing PV and IREM fixes along with timing
+ Good exposure to Cadence EDA tool set needed for PD
+ TCL and PERL scripting knowledge and experience in writing the scripts
+ Optional Skills
+ Complex blocks floorplan, PnR and STA
+ Complex IP integration like DDR and PCIe
+ Hands on experience in low power designs
+ Good understanding of DFT stitching
+ Exposure to any of 7/6nm, 5/4nm & 3/2nm technologies

This position requires expertise in advanced verification methodologies, strong technical leadership, and excellent problem-solving skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Formal Verification Strategy: Define and implement formal verification methodologies for pre-silicon validation.
- Tool Ownership: Master industry tools (e.g., Cadence JasperGold, Synopsys VC Formal) to prove correctness of RTL designs.
- Constraint Development: Create assertions (SVA), assumptions, and cover points to model design behavior.
- Debugging: Root-cause formal failures and collaborate with RTL teams to resolve design flaws.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with architects, designers, and DV teams to align formal efforts with simulation/emulation.
- 12+ years of experience required.
