Role & responsibilities

1. Network Administrator

• Day-to-day operations: Maintaining LANs, WANs, ensuring uptime, and monitoring performance.
• Hardware & software management: Installing and configuring network devices (routers, firewalls, switches), applying patches, and performing regular updates .
• Security maintenance: Enforcing security policies, monitoring for breaches, and conducting audits .
• Troubleshooting & support: Handling network-related issues as they arise, offering support to users, and responding quickly to incidents .
• Documentation: Keeping network diagrams, inventory, and configuration records up to date .

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on telecommunications networks.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, and other routing and switching protocols.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-level firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks) and network security principles.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds) and packet analysis.
• Proficiency in scripting for network automation is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site responsibilities with remote tasks.
