As part of our global ERM development team, you'll collaborate with a team of skilled software engineers in designing and implementing of both on Premise and Cloud solutions. **Ideal experience**
+ You have a solid understanding of Cloud Database and managed services, preferably in AWS and Azure.
+ Have experience work with Postgres, and NoSQL database such as Mongo, DynamoDB, Cosmos.
+ Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
+ Required to have good working experience on performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging in Oracle.
+ Understanding of Clean code, SOLID principles & Design patterns
+ Good communication skills, working with a broad range of people, including Product Owners, Testers.
+ Extensive experience in managing and tuning Oracle database.
+ Positive approach to problem solving with a 'can do' attitude.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

● Proficiency in administering and tuning Oracle Database 19c.

● Experience with application servers such as Oracle 12c WebLogic and Tomcat.

● Familiarity with web servers (e.g., Apache) and replication tools like Oracle GoldenGate.

● Strong knowledge of AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Required Technical and Professional Experience

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Oracle Database Administrator with expertise in RAC, RMAN Backup & restore, Data guard, ASM, Patching

  • Install, upgrade, and configure oracle database software, DB Backup and recovery procedures.

  • Oracle DBA should have experience on 19c,12c & 11g upgrade, production support, cross platform migration with strong troubleshooting and database performance tuning skills.

  • GRID & DB Installation, Migration, patching and upgrade activity.

  • Hands-on with CDB & PDB architecture, design and implementation and TDE will be beneficial.

  • Conduct proactive and reactive database monitoring and maintenance.

  • Apply database software updates and stand-alone hotfixes to Customer environments

  • Communicate with 3rd party software or hardware manufactures as needed to ensure optimal configuration and support.

  • Lead development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, processes, and procedures on database technologies and cloud databases and migrate databases to the Autonomous Database, ensuring a seamless transition for optimal performance.

  • Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and above.

  • Good Communication skill along with expertise in domain knowledge and ITIL knowledge as well.

  • Understanding of Golden Gate will be preferred

  • Oracle Certification Preferred.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in database environments.
