Job Description
Hiring Electrical Engineer with 10 to 13 years of experience in real estate construction project. You will be responsible to oversee and direct multiple construction projects from planning to completion by collaborating and establishing excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver superior infrastructure by enhancing operational, and financial performance, reducing risks, maintaining costs, quality, and timelines.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Facilitate scheme development of every project by comprehensively understanding project complexities, critical elements, and risk factors
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of project complexities, critical elements, and risk factors to facilitate scheme development for each projects
- Coordinate with the Design team to ensure timely receipt of drawings, BOQ, tender documents, and specifications
- Ensure meticulous review of final GFC drawings, BOQ documents, and specifications before initiating the tender document floating process
- Coordinate with the Contract team for processing indent and contribute to vendor evaluations based on project specifications
- Discern when to escalate potential issues that could impede project progress
- Secure essential permits, approvals, and regulatory requirements for the entire project, ensuring full compliance with legal standards and regulations
- Conduct vendor site visits before empaneling the vendor to evaluate the quality, manpower mobilization capability, workmanship, and equipment
- Review the final design received from the Design Team, convert into Shop design, and shared it with the awarded contractor
- Administer relevant information regarding the project requirements, and timelines for the scope of work
- Share essential project details and timelines with relevant stakeholders to define and clarify the scope of work effectively
- Develop the micro schedule for the project, as well as schedule contractors based on Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Ensure construction site clearance, and intended materials are allocated to the contractor on time
- Responsible for the Look Ahead Planning (LAP) process set up, and review activity schedule, productivity, and manpower planning on a biweekly basis
- Check with storehouse suppliers for material planning and delivery
- Provide direction to raise Request for Information (RFI) for contractors and subcontractors when required
- Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships to ensure smooth execution of the project
- Review progress tracker and summary report for cost and work done as per planned vs actual on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
- Monitor site visits, resolve issues and technical queries, and ensure project progress is in accord with the plan
- Monitor adherence to the project budget and immediately highlight any discrepancies observed
- Verify and ensure contractors bills are sent to the Contracts team for timely payment
- Prepare and check statements of cost and expense projections and future cash flow plans for the Controls team
- Ensure reconciliation of materials to minimize and control wastage
- Check and ensure safety measures are followed on-site by contractors and subcontractors
- Identify all contractual risks and track proposed mitigation and corrective actions for closure

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
In tender:
- Analyse the schedule management requirements of the Customer (contractual tool, schedule structure, reporting constraints,…),
- Define tender preparation schedule and monitor until the submission of the tender,
- Detail the tender schedule based on Reference Library templates, gap analysis, Metiers commitments, and PXO (Project Metiers organisation such as PIO / Project Industrial Organisation) tender strategy
- Highlight the critical path and risks linked to the project schedule and propose the optimisation & mitigation actions,
