Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Director of Product who has a proven track record of building B2B SaaS products from scratch in a world-class SaaS environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills, deep experience in product lifecycle management, and strong technical fluency. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable speaking with engineers about databases and APIs as they are with customers about user workflows and experiences.


You will own the product vision, roadmap, and execution—leading cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, sales, and customer success to build scalable, intuitive, and market-leading SaaS products.


Key Responsibilities

  • Product Leadership: Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for PriceEasy’s SaaS solutions.

Job Summary
The Data Services team at NetApp helps customers protect and govern their data wherever it lives. We are responsible for driving preference for our primary storage platforms through a consolidated set of data protection and governance offerings.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Product Management to help build the future of data protection products and capabilities primarily focused on the backup and recovery space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management with the data protection and security industry, and is expected to work closely with enterprise storage, cloud storage, product marketing and customers to define the vision and roadmap for the space, and to be excellent at driving planning and execution for these broad areas.

The success of this role depends on ensuring that our data protection services bring more value to storage infrastructure while building and growing more subscription services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build the next generation of backup and recovery products that closely align with the company's mission of helping customers store, Protect and govern their data with NetApp.
  • Work closely with top customers to both understand their needs and evangelize Backup and recovery solutions.
  • Drive roadmap planning and execution for new and existing products that helps meet customer demands and revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development, launch and go-to-market strategies.
  • Build simple but usable products that delight our users and buyer personas alike.
  • Lead and inspire team of Product Managers and Technical Marketing engineers to innovate and empower our customers through their digital transformation.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align product strategy with business objectives and contribute to the company's overall growth and success.

Job Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in product management and at least 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Strong leadership skills – demonstrated ability to build and lead talented group of product managers.
  • Experience in building data protection solutions, Databases and Virtualization infrastructure with a strong focus on user personas is a must.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated track record of delivering revenue-driven product launches.
  • Customer obsession – demonstrated building a strong understanding of customer problems and building capabilities that help resolve their pain points.
  • Bias for action – demonstrated bias for initiative while solving problems for customers, company and your team.
  • Ownership mentality – demonstrated end to end ownership, accountability, and a desire to lead from the front when required to achieve the desired outcome.

As a Director of Product Management in the Search and Recommendations Platform and Operations team, you will be part of a dynamic group of professionals who are passionate about creating cutting-edge solutions that drive Target's business forward. Our team collaborates closely with cross-functional partners, including engineering, data science, and operations, to deliver products that are easy to use, maintain, and scale. We operate with a shared backlog, ensuring that all product, technology, and design work is aligned and prioritized to achieve our business outcomes.


Key Experience & Skills:

  • Search and Recommendations Platform: Proven experience in building and scaling Search and Recommendations platforms, with a deep understanding of the underlying technologies and user experience principles.
  • Data Science & Machine Learning: Extensive experience working with Data Science and Machine Learning teams to develop algorithms that enhance search relevance and recommendation accuracy.
  • Operational Leadership: A strong track record of leading operations and driving efficiency in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable products.
  • Expertise in AI and Search Technologies: Deep understanding of Search, Recommendations, AI, and Generative AI technologies, with practical experience in leading the development of products in this domain.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Expertise in large language model (LLM) development, vector search, document search, embeddings, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

As the Director of Product Management, you will:
