Your future role

You'll be at the helm of the overall Quality, Costs, Development Lead Time, and System/Product performances, including safety demonstrations when necessary. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Development Center Métiers Manager/Director, Safety Assurance Manager, and Product Lifecycle Managers), coordinating all Program Work Packages and much more.
You'll specifically take care of proposing the System/Product specifications, optimize and measure System/Product performances, but also ensure the deployability of your System/Product by Projects.
We'll look to you for:
- Contributing to the roadmap definition of your System/Product
- Managing and controlling all developments related to your program
- Ensuring all Gate Reviews related to the program are managed effectively
- Driving decisions for issues affecting performance, subject to validation
- Operationally managing the Métier resources allocated to the program
- Leading the program teams to support technical aspects of Projects
- Another responsibility: Smooth transition to Product Lifecycle Manager post-development

What You Will Do
- Leads design efforts in developing new connectors, cable assembly components, and Networking products for high-speed connectivity and data transmission used in industrial applications. Follow all Product Development Phases required to bring concepts into production with supervision from the Engineering Supervisor and Manager. Prepare presentation material for design reviews and customer meetings.
- Evaluate customer requirements to develop technical assumptions and requirements that provide an outline for project scope, planning and quoting activities. Create Design FMEA, execute on risk mitigating actions from the DFMEA, and update the DFMEA accordingly. Responsible for design/product validation plan and report. Supports cross-functional feasibility reviews of new products.
- Prepares information such as design concepts at design reviews and at meetings with customers. Participates and provides value and feedback in customer's Product Design Team meetings. Provides team and customers with regular status updates. Provides technical support to customers both internal and external customers. Responds to questions/requests in a timely manner. Problem solving and troubleshooting in the reliability lab, over the phone or at the customer location.
- Confirms product design intent. Performs/Reviews stack studies and other analyses required from the DFMEA to reduce and eliminate failure modes from designs before tool release. Checks manufacturing drawings for completeness and accuracy. Performs engineering tests and submits products for screen and qualification testing in the reliability lab.
Coordinates new product development, debug and release. Follows all product development steps, supplies tooling groups with necessary drawings for quoting and tool build. Assists and supports manufacturing in the debug process. Responsible for follow-up, documentation, publishing and expediting all action items of a new product program.
- Prepares and follows engineering change requests (ECR) per document control procedures. Supports other engineers in department by checking drawings and provides mark-up for corrections.
- Produces suitable manufacturing drawings that follow the Molex Drawing Standard and employs accepted GD&T methodology.
- Interfaces with internal departments (manufacturing, quality, lab, sales and marketing) to ensure design objectives are met in a timely manner and assists by providing product information, engineering samples and technical advice. Also interfaces with suppliers and customers.
- Supports current product with continuous improvement and supports resolution of customer issues. Always support sustenance activities, co-ordination with manufacturing plant.
- Take part in disposition activities and support global team in measurement data.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Women's Denim Designer / Product Developer
with a deep understanding of denim fabric, women's fits, washes, trims, and construction techniques. You will be responsible for driving the development of trend-forward, high-quality women's denim products — from initial concept to final production approval. This is a hands-on role that requires regular factory visits, deep technical knowledge, and an eye for design aesthetics tailored to the women's market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design & Trend Development
- Research global fashion trends, washes, and fits relevant to women's denim.
- Develop seasonal women's denim collections aligned with the brand's vision and customer profile.
- Create mood boards, concept presentations, detailed sketches, and wash inspirations.
- Innovate on silhouettes, detailing, and finishes, keeping the customer and market trends in mind.
2. Fabric, Wash & Fit Development
- Source and select suitable denim fabrics (rigid, stretch, recycled, etc.) in line with seasonal requirements.
- Work closely with laundries and wash technicians to develop desired effects — from light stone washes to heavy destruction, bleaching, tints, etc.
- Ensure consistency in washes and fits across sampling and production stages.
- Lead fit sessions and provide feedback on patterns and garment construction for women's body types.
3. Sampling & Trims
- Manage the end-to-end sample development process
- Source and develop trims (buttons, rivets, zippers, patches, labels) tailored to women's denim aesthetics.
- Collaborate with sampling units and pattern masters to ensure accurate execution of design and construction.
4. Vendor & Factory Coordination
- Maintain strong working relationships with factories and wash units.
- Conduct regular vendor and factory visits for sampling, fit approvals, and production monitoring.
- Coordinate timelines to ensure on-time delivery of samples and PP approvals.
5. Technical Documentation & Approvals
- Create and maintain detailed tech packs, BOMs (Bill of Materials), wash standards, and spec sheets.
- Review and approve all key samples, PP samples, and TOPs (Top of Production) with a focus on design integrity and production feasibility.
- Ensure all development aligns with cost targets and production lead times.
6. Quality & Compliance
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure garments meet internal standards of quality, wash stability, and garment performance.
- Monitor production samples to maintain fit, wash, and finish consistency across the bulk.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Fashion Design, or Apparel Product Development from NIFT , Pearl or equivalent.
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in women's denim design or product development.
- Strong understanding of women's denim fits (high-rise, wide-leg, mom jeans, skinny, etc.) and construction.
- Expertise in denim fabrics, wash processes, and trim development.
- Solid understanding of garment measurements, patterns, and technical specifications.
