Job Description

**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

The role requires the ability to work with a variety of key stakeholders across job functions with multiple sites.
The GO-AI Demand planning team is looking for a curious, resourceful, and experienced Demand Planners to join our team of Program Managers and analysts. Our mission is to ensure our customers have the right support at the right time to confidently and effectively grow their business through Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
1. Work closely with various stakeholders, including customer, operations and analytics teams to understand the demand patterns for short-term and long-term horizons across GO-AI programs.
2. Develop capacity planning models at multiple levels of aggregation for varied time horizons (short/med/long term) basis various programs demand forecast. Coordinate cross-functional research initiatives to reconcile significant variances, refine the forecast model to reflect updated assumptions and reduce forecast model variance.
3. Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. using automation tools to drive key business decisions. Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new and existing tools. Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon's data resources and know how, when, and which to use and which not to use.
4. Promote process improvement and standardization across all sites in the network. Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity, present written business recommendations and drive solutions that will help shape the direction of the business.
5. Proficiency in one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau/Quicksight/MicroStrategy/PowerBI) and statistical modeling to deliver actionable insights to stakeholder
About the team
The Global Operations - Artificial Intelligence (GO-AI) team is an initiative, which remotely handles exceptions in the Amazon Robotic Fulfillment Centers Globally. GO-AI seeks to complement automated vision based decision-making technologies by providing remote human support for the subset of tasks which require higher cognitive ability and cannot be processed through automated decision making with high confidence. This team provides end-to-end solutions through inbuilt competencies of Operations and strong central specialized teams to deliver programs at Amazon scale.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or above in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- Professional experience of 3 years and above in Data analytics

We are a fast-growing AI company working with innovative US-based clients to build cutting-edge machine learning solutions and software products. Our projects span ML engineering, product development, and full-stack software delivery, and we’re looking for a hands-on Project Manager to drive execution and ensure successful outcomes.

What You’ll Do

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing one or more concurrent projects, depending on complexity and team size. You'll collaborate with both internal engineering teams and external client stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and quality outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end project planning and execution across AI/ML and/or software development projects
  • Conduct sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with clients via status reports and regular updates ( Interact with customer to understand, manage and deliver expected outcomes consistently)
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and proactively remove delivery roadblocks
  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, scope, and quality. Report project health through prescribed formats / dashboards.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and team performance

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–5+ years of project management experience in software or AI/ML project environments
  • Experience working directly with clients, including international stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and basic AI/ML concepts
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive accountability


Nice to Have:

  • PMP or CSM certification
  • Hands-on experience in a tech environment or with technical teams

  • Candidate should be comfortable with in-person team meetings and client calls, as needed
