The Role

As a Manager- Quality Assurance based in Chennai, India, you will play a pivotal role in supporting one of our global divisions by ensuring the product quality, regulatory compliance, continuous improvement in a production environment and collaborate with other departments when require.


Key Responsibilities:

· Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.

· Lead and manage the QA team to ensure effective inspection, testing, and documentation processes.

· Oversee incoming raw material inspection, in-process quality control, and final product verification.

· Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.

· Conduct internal audits, prepare quality reports, and coordinate with external auditors.

· Analyze quality performance data, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

· Collaborate with production, other departments, and procurement teams to address quality-related issues.

· Train the staff in quality standards, inspection methods, and best practices.

· Maintain and improve certifications and documentation.

· Drive a culture of continuous improvement and zero-defect production.

. Possess strong expertise and practical skills in visual colour assessment, with the ability to accurately evaluate and differentiate shades, tones, and colour variations to ensure product consistency and quality compliance.


Experience Required:


. 5+ years of experience in the paint / automobile industry in QA Department is preferred.
