Role Overview:

As an Apprentice Analyst, you will work on enhancing online product data quality for Electrical, Mechanical & Electronics products. Your role will include creating technical specifications, product descriptions, and supporting consultancy projects related to e-commerce taxonomy and navigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data enrichment, standardization, normalization, and categorization of product data using research from multiple sources (internet, databases, etc.)
• Conducting data quality checks and corrections
• Basic data profiling and reporting
• Communicating with clients via email for request acknowledgment, project updates, and query responses
• Enhancing product data quality (technical specifications & descriptions) for categories like pumps, motors, HVAC, plumbing, etc.
• Supporting category managers with industry best practices for product data enhancement

Skills & Qualifications:

• Education:
  B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical/engineering products (pumps, motors, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Office & internet research
• Good communication and collaboration skills

• In-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), having a thorough understanding of various phases such as Requirement gathering, Analysis, Design, Development, and Testing.
• Extensive ETL experience using Informatica PowerCenter (Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor).
• Excellent in designing ETL procedures and strategies to extract data from different heterogeneous source systems like Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DB2, Flat files, JSON, XML.

• Expertise in Developing Mappings and Mapplets/Transformations between Source and Target using Informatica Designer.

Your Profile:

• Should be experienced in operational risk management / service delivery, and quality control in financial services / Investment Banking Operations
• Should have experience in managing mid-sized teams of minimum 15-20 people
• Needs to have experience in managing international customers (from a service delivery perspective)
• Experience in operational excellence initiatives such as Six Sigma, ISO 9000 and RPA

• Provide initial support for requests and inquiries submitted to the HR organization, including employment verifications, onboarding, time and leave, policies and procedures, and other simple and complex requests that may require research and follow-up for resolution

• Preparing the new Entities, Relationships, establishing Cardinalities based on the inputs from the Senior Data Modeler.
• Visualizing the Data Model for the Changes, Impact Analysis study on the Existing entities before implementing the new Changes into the Standard Data Model.
• Establishing/Identifying the partition keys for new entities in Single View of Customer models.
