Job Description

In this varied role as a Senior Land Consultant in the Land Services team, your goal will be the research and delivery of detailed, high quality land ownership information to our clients. You will gather this information by searching various databases, researching land registry records and examining Ordnance Survey maps. Our clients develop major highway, rail, energy and water infrastructure for which they need Government approval.
You will work as part of a team of Land Consultants assisting the Referencing Manager in liaising with landowners that may be affected by the development and delivering the necessary information required to notify, gain access and subsequently compensate them for the impact caused by the scheme. You will be directly supporting the Land team who work alongside engineers, environmental specialists and planners on high profile infrastructure projects providing the level of diligent inquiry needed for the submission of Statutory Orders and the successful acceptance of planning submissions.
As part of our team you will support the delivery of land access and land acquisition projects through the identification of land ownership, consultation with landowners, undertaking property valuation, assessing and negotiating compensation, combining skills in GIS, data management and landowner engagement.

Successfully managed a technical team of land consultants to deliver land referencing or land assembly services on an infrastructure project.
Detailed knowledge and experience of UK statutory consents requirements, such as a Hybrid Bill, TWAO, DCO, CPO, and/or Vesting Order as well as an understanding of the land and property industry.
Understanding of the land and property industry and a strong interest in negotiation and statutory land acquisition.
An understanding of the Land Referencing process in the UK would be beneficial.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Potential to develop strong influencing and negotiating skills would be beneficial.
Experience of working on various infrastructure development schemes in particular the electricity, road, gas, rail and renewable energy sector.
Awareness of relevant legislation and statutory process (Electricity Act 1989, Planning Act 2008 etc).
Familiarity with rural environments and land use practices is beneficial.
QUALIFICATION
A Post graduate degree in Geography, land management, planning, or another relevant discipline, providing a strong foundation in the complexities of land-use and ownership across the UK and Ireland.
Substantial experience in landowner engagement, including negotiation and formal consent processes across infrastructure projects.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and line manage multi-grade teams, with a track record of fostering team performance and supporting individual development.
In-depth knowledge of the Land Referencing and land acquisition lifecycle, including statutory mechanisms (e.g. CPO, DCO, TWAO, Hybrid Bill), property interest identification, and rights in land.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects under pressure, with a strong command of workflow planning, delivery assurance, and risk mitigation.
Collaborative approach with the ability to embed into interdisciplinary teams and contribute to wider business development and client engagement efforts.
Strong spatial awareness with confidence in reading and interpreting technical maps and land ownership plans.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in reviewing, managing and assuring the quality of complex datasets.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and GIS or land information management systems.

**Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for assigning and supervising all operational activities as undertaken by CBRE at client sites. Ensure smooth working through organizing, directing, managing and evaluating operations in areas of facility and management support services. Also, responsible for client relationship, Smooth integration between engineering and soft services, Parking management / Security, Pest control and landscaping, MIS generation, Critical equipment breakdown trend analysis, financial & Budgetary Controls of all services.

+ All such audits to be made ready as per the plans. **Job description**
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages and leads project management staff on the project and ensures that staff is assigned respective roles and responsibilities per their expertise and experience. Ensures that the staff is fully aware of the project execution plan and comply to the implementation of project requirements, policies, and procedures. Formally supervises individual employees and/or subordinate supervisors.
Leads the team from front and act as single point of contact to client. He would be responsible for mentoring the team; providing them direction to ensure a seamless delivery from initiation till closeout.
Supports directly or engages team member during project procurement process
Liaise with Consultants/ Clients/ Contractor on all project matters.
Review of Civil/MEP Services Design proposals from Consultants & Contractors.
Review tender documents and actively involve in value engineering exercise.
Independently handle (Cost Certification, Quality Management, Schedule & Budget Management, Closeout Management).
Responsible for identifying tracking performance, coaching, training needs, and motivating team members. Directly or indirectly responsible for hiring, terminating, compensation, and performance evaluation of staff.
Directs all phases of project management including procurement/contracting, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closeout phases of the project. Key focus areas include scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk management.
Exhibits a complete understanding of company's corporate governance policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring corporate governance policies and procedures are adhered to within work group.
Responsible for accurate, timely, and compliant contract procurement, contract negotiation, contract execution, contract administration, and closeout.
Contracts included company's agreements, client/vendor agreements, and company /vendor and supplier agreements. Monitors adherence to policies and procedures regarding internal governance and controls.
Demonstrates ability to identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks for client and company.
Oversees the preparation of accurate, timely, and complete reports to the client and company.
Conducts and maintains relationships with industry and trade associates, vendors, and professional organizations.
Other duties as assigned.
Should have experience in commercial office buildings, retail, PVR style cinemas, RCC/Steel Dome structures,township and villa projects,industrial projects. Must have experience in entire project lifecycle of 2 projects.
Must have knowledge of MS Projects
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Civil
MBA in Project / Construction Management (full time) is preferred.
16 + years of prior experience.
Corporate client experience is a must.
