Job Role: RAM Engineer (Reliability, Availability and Maintainability - Oil & Gas domain)

Responsibilities/Preferred Expertise

• Create and refine models for Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM).
• Demonstrated experience in developing RAM models.
• Proficiency in RAM modeling and analysis tools (e.g., DNV-Maros, HBK-BlockSim, Bentley-ARMS, Isographs-AvSim, RAM Commander, PetroRAM etc.
• Conduct RAM modeling for Oil & Gas upstream projects to enhance system performance and reduce costs related to equipment maintenance and repair.
• Must have experience in the Oil & Gas refinery or petrochemical industry.

• Design, simulate, and optimize process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Conduct process hazard analyses (PHAs) and implement safety measures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues in oil and gas facilities.
• Perform mass and energy balance calculations for various unit operations.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies or process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design of substation components (e.g., control buildings, transformer foundations, cable trenches, gantry towers).
• Prepare and review design documents, structural drawings, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with internal teams, site engineers, clients, and consultants for approvals and clarifications.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards (IS, IEC, etc.).
• Optimize quantities while meeting project and client requirements.
• Support pre-bid engineering, prepare DBRs and DCIs, and participate in technical discussions.
