Role: Strategic Projects & Research Manager

Location: Chennai, India


This position is for an ambitious professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, technology, and market research. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion and general understanding of the rapidly evolving software industry, with a desire to have an outsized impact. The work will directly contribute to the strategic planning and development that will drive growth and unlock value in the Agentic AI market.


The role will support and drive key research projects for the senior leadership team. Areas of primary focus will include conducting in-depth analysis of technology and industry trends, providing actionable insights, developing summaries, preparing presentations, and collecting data that shapes the company’s growth agenda.


The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a consulting mindset, someone who can move seamlessly between strategic frameworks, data-driven analysis, and crisp executive communication. They will have experience working in fast-paced environments and presenting original work product to senior leaders.


  • Lead and execute strategic projects aligned to the company’s key priorities, spanning business growth, innovation, and organizational initiatives.
  • Conduct deep research and analysis on emerging technology trends, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence relevant to our core business.
  • Develop and present insightful reports, presentations, and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to foster collaboration and incorporate insights into reports, analysis, and strategy development.


Role Requirements and Qualifications:

  • MBA from a top IIM (or equivalent tier-1 business school in India).
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or advisory, ideally with a top consulting firm.
  • Proven ability to analyze technology trends and market developments in software, AI, and digital engineering.
  • Strong skills in strategy frameworks, business analysis, and executive communication (both written and presentation).
  • Experience working in fast-paced, global environments.

Immuneel is looking for an intern to support the upstream and downstream process development for viral vectors and associated analytics. The said candidate must have a strong understanding of cell culture, filtration, molecular biology and cell biology. Key deliverables will be to support Viral Vector Scientists to drive projects and programs through process development culminating in global IND applications. Knowledge on process development, analytical method development and single use technologies is an added advantage.


5. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execution of studies for Viral Vector process and analytical method development under the guidance of Scientists. Experience in Biologics with brief exposure to Viral Vector acceptable
  2. Scientific support for upstream and downstream process development/improvement for suspension & adherent based Viral Vector platforms, with an intent of making cost-affordable process.
  3. Ordering of reagents, consumables, inventory management.

What You'll Bring

  • BE/BTech in Computer Science, Computational Finance, Data Science, or related discipline
  • 7+ years of experience as a programmer with expertise in at least one programming language out of Python/Java/C++
  • Work experience as Java programmer with Python knowledge is highly desirable
  • Ability to design elegant solutions and the ability to translate design into high quality code
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills

Trainee - Research & Development (Viral Vector)

4. Role Summary:

Immuneel is looking for an intern to support the upstream and downstream process development for viral vectors and associated analytics. The said candidate must have a strong understanding of cell culture, filtration, molecular biology and cell biology. Key deliverables will be to support Viral Vector Scientists to drive projects and programs through process development culminating in global IND applications. Knowledge on process development, analytical method development and single use technologies is an added advantage.


5. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execution of studies for Viral Vector process and analytical method development under the guidance of Scientists. Experience in Biologics with brief exposure to Viral Vector acceptable
  2. Scientific support for upstream and downstream process development/improvement for suspension & adherent based Viral Vector platforms, with an intent of making cost-affordable process.
  3. Ordering of reagents, consumables, inventory management.
  4. Preparation, cross-functional review and training of the SOPs/EOPs/Work Instructions and other documents required for quality management system requirement.
  5. Compilation and recording of data in process records (hard copy or digital) and preparation of technical reports.
  6. Coordination with Application Scientists and Engineers for technical trouble shooting of Process Development facilities and associated utilities.

  1. Support process development and analytical testing for viral vectors

  3. Support technology transfer of upstream process as a part of technology transfer of the viral vector manufacturing process

It includes conducting precise chemical and instrumental analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished liquids in alignment with defined test methods, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and ISO 17025 requirements. The position also supports senior analysts in innovation and research initiatives and contributes to technical capability building across stakeholders through training and knowledge sharing.
