Collaborating side by side with researchers and portfolio analysts, you will be responsible for designing and implementing proprietary systems and tools that drive the quantitative strategy research and systematic investing that powers AQR.
Your Role
• As an associate in quantitative research development team, you will build or extend our:
• Global asset signal, data and risk estimation infrastructure incorporating millions of data points.
• Intuitive research APIs leveraging cloud computing and cutting-edge visualizations.
• High-performance historical simulation/back testing engine for vetting new alpha strategies.
• Bespoke technology solutions that satisfy the needs of specific asset classes and research needs
• Partner with not only local but also global team of research engineers for successful product delivery
What You'll Bring
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computational Finance, Data Science, or related discipline
• At least 5+ years of experience as a quantitative developer, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Outstanding communication, coding, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strength in pragmatic design and deploying applications using Linux/Docker/Python.
• An interest in quantitative finance (no finance / trading experience required).
• Experience with Python / NumPy / pandas or similar quantitative stack is a plus.
• Demonstrated contributions to open-source software is also a plus.
• An aptitude for mathematics, finance and econometrics is desired.

4. Role Summary:
Immuneel is looking for an intern to support the upstream and downstream process development for viral vectors and associated analytics. The said candidate must have a strong understanding of cell culture, filtration, molecular biology and cell biology. Key deliverables will be to support Viral Vector Scientists to drive projects and programs through process development culminating in global IND applications. Knowledge on process development, analytical method development and single use technologies is an added advantage.
5. Key Responsibilities:
- Execution of studies for Viral Vector process and analytical method development under the guidance of Scientists. Experience in Biologics with brief exposure to Viral Vector acceptable
- Scientific support for upstream and downstream process development/improvement for suspension & adherent based Viral Vector platforms, with an intent of making cost-affordable process.
- Ordering of reagents, consumables, inventory management.
- Preparation, cross-functional review and training of the SOPs/EOPs/Work Instructions and other documents required for quality management system requirement.
- Compilation and recording of data in process records (hard copy or digital) and preparation of technical reports.
- Coordination with Application Scientists and Engineers for technical trouble shooting of Process Development facilities and associated utilities.

Who You Are
You're an ML Research Engineer with 2+ years of experience who bridges the gap between
cutting-edge research and production systems. You're passionate about training models that
perform exceptionally well not just on benchmarks but in real-world applications. You enjoy
diving deep into model architectures, experimenting with training techniques, and building
robust evaluation frameworks that ensure model reliability in critical applications.
Responsibilities
● Train and fine-tune models for speech recognition and natural language processing in
multilingual healthcare contexts
● Develop specialized models through fine-tuning and optimization techniques for
domain-specific tasks
● Design and implement comprehensive evaluation frameworks to measure model
performance across critical metrics
● Build data pipelines for collecting, annotating, and augmenting training datasets
● Research and implement state-of-the-art techniques from academic papers to improve
model performance
● Collaborate with AI engineers to deploy optimized models into production systems
● Create synthetic data generation pipelines to address data scarcity challenges
Qualifications
Required
● 2+ years of experience in ML/DL with focus on training and fine-tuning production
models
● Deep expertise in speech recognition systems (ASR) or natural language processing
(NLP), including transformer architectures
● Proven experience with model training frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and
distributed training
● Strong understanding of evaluation metrics and ability to design domain-specific
benchmarks
● Experience with modern speech models (Whisper, Wav2Vec2, Conformer) or LLM
fine-tuning techniques (LoRA, QLoRA, full fine-tuning)
● Proficiency in handling multilingual datasets and cross-lingual transfer learning
● Track record of improving model performance through data engineering and
augmentation strategies
Nice to Have
● Published research or significant contributions to open-source ML projects
● Experience with model optimization techniques (quantization, distillation, pruning)
● Background in low-resource language modeling
● Experience building evaluation frameworks for production ML systems
