Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute test strategies for Salesforce CRM, including lead-to-opportunity lifecycle, CPQ configurations, case management, and service workflows.
- Validate both declarative (flows, validation rules, page layouts) and programmatic (Apex classes, triggers, Lightning components) functionalities in Salesforce.
- Ensure functional, integration, and regression testing across Salesforce and connected platforms such as NetSuite (ERP), Shopify (eCommerce), and Celigo (middleware).
- Build and maintain automation test suites using Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or equivalent tools, with support for mobile/responsive and cross-browser testing.
- Leverage AI-powered testing platforms (e.g., TestSigma, Mabl) to streamline test creation, execution, and maintenance within CI/CD workflows.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, user story reviews, and release planning to proactively surface test risks, dependencies, and coverage gaps.
- Conduct exploratory and negative testing to identify edge cases, UX/UI inconsistencies, and validation gaps.
- Maintain robust documentation of test plans, test cases, test data, scripts, and reusable QA assets.
- Log, triage, and manage defects in Jira (or equivalent), with detailed reproduction steps, priority classification, and follow-through on resolution and retesting.
Mandatory Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on QA experience, including direct ownership of Salesforce test planning and execution.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model (Accounts, Leads, Opportunities, Cases), automation tools (Flows, Process Builder), and development elements (Apex, SOQL, Lightning).
- Proven experience automating UI and functional tests using Selenium, Playwright, or similar open-source frameworks.
- Experience validating REST/SOAP APIs and platform events using Postman, Swagger, or automated API frameworks like Rest Assured.
- Familiarity with testing AI-enabled QA tools (TestSigma, Mabl, Functionize, etc.) or strong interest in learning and adopting AI-based testing techniques.
