RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The candidate will assist faculty in data collection (primary both lab and field-level; & secondary) that includes quantitative and qualitative data to support their ongoing research work.
• The candidate will help with data scraping, data cleaning, interpreting and creating reports to suit faculty research requirements.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Masters Degrees in Statistics/Finance/Economics/Operations/Marketing or B.A/B.S./BBA in the same fields with experience in data analysis.
• Hands-on expertise in Excel (including advanced Excel techniques).

Purpose of the Role:

To conduct research under guidance of Group Lead/Team Lead to optimize the cost and improve the yield to aid in the business growth of UPL.

Job Responsibilities:

1. To set up reactions based on discussion and planning with Team Leader to optimize synthesis of out of patent agrochemical intermediates and active ingredient.

2. To carry out reactions in lab for development of non-infringing processes and improve cost effectiveness of existing products by improving yield, modifying processes and maintaining quality, monitoring and concluding based on analysis.

3. Communicate on daily basis on the progress of the project.

4. Achieve reproducibility and consistency of results. Maintain daily records and update for QMS system

5. Follow safe handling practices of chemicals and reactions to maintain industrial hygiene and reduce environmental wastes.

6. Tabulate data of experiments needed for review meeting.
