**Job Summary:**
Security Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Security functions. He must coordinate with the respective Service Providers and ensure full manpower is deployed and highest level of safe working environment inside the Premises. Responsible for implementation of procedures with respect to security protocols and Safety to ensure best safe practices to protect the building and the employees inside the building premises.
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ Ensure adequate deployment at respective locations.
+ Oversee Service Provider activities.
+ Identify and resolve entry/exit, driveway, and parking issues.
+ Check and certify bills from Security Service Providers.
+ Implement and manage physical security standards and SOPs.
+ Ensure electronic security gadgets are functional.
+ Track and rectify complaints about electronic gadgets.
+ Support new security projects and implementations.
+ Implement emergency preparedness programs and contingency planning.
+ Identify security risks and advise the Client on strategies to mitigate them.
+ Manage key management end-to-end.
+ Coordinate with building management on technical security processes.
+ Resolve security and parking issues with occupant companies.
+ Manage VIP movements as needed.
+ Coordinate with government officials for any requirements/issues.
+ Manage crowds during events and VIP visits.
+ Increase security awareness and site security operations.
+ Conduct regular security assessments and suggest improvements.
+ Maintain compliance with security practices, regulations, and policies.
+ Ensure ongoing training for security guards.
+ Supervise CCTV monitoring and action on observations.

The ISM is responsible for the definition and the operational implementation of the secure development lifecycle within the business areas developing and maintaining customer-facing applications, digital platforms, IoT products and production equipment at the ZEISS COM segment:
- Develop, document and enforce security policies and standards aligned with the strategy of the organization.
- Provide professional leadership to the Security Engineers across the segment, providing guidance regarding learning paths and further development.
- Advise teams on secure design and review architecture proposals.
- Guide Security Engineers to identify applicable security requirements. Support them in conducting threat modelling and selecting applicable security controls. Oversee the creation of security documentation.
- Ensure the proper implementation of a secure development lifecycle, including maintenance and the use of security tools, e.g., static and dynamic application security testing, software composition analysis, security monitoring, etc.
- Oversee the planning and execution of security testing activities, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments. Together with the security engineers, review findings and define countermeasures. Ensure that the relevant findings are remediated before moving to production.
- Coordinate Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS)-related activities across the COM Segment. Responsible for ensuring compliance with internal FOSS guidelines in the different functional units.
