Job Overview
We are looking for an SEO Executive with strong content writing skills to drive organic growth across multiple brands. This role demands someone who understands technical SEO, has a good grasp of keyword strategy, and can leverage AI tools to streamline workflows and support SEO content production. This is a collaborative role suited for someone passionate about content, search engine optimization, and AI-driven efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing comprehensive technical SEO audits, identifying and resolving basic on-page issues such as broken links, missing alt text, slow page speed, and incorrect or missing schema markup.
- Monitor site health, crawl errors, and indexing status using tools like Google Search Console and SEMrush, and take corrective actions.
- Perform keyword research and competitor benchmarking using SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools, ensuring insights feed into both short-term and long-term content strategies. (Include keyword difficulty, search intent, SERP trends, and content gap analysis.)
- Track and report on organic performance metrics using Google Analytics and SEO platforms. Identify actionable growth opportunities for content and UX improvements.
- Create, edit, and optimise content including blog posts, landing pages, FAQs, and metadata across multiple brand websites. (Ensure tone, structure, and formatting are SEO- and user-friendly.)
- Leverage AI writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, SurferSEO) productively, with the ability to humanise, structure, and polish outputs to maintain quality and consistency.
- Align all content with brand guidelines, SEO strategy, buyer journey stages, and user personas, ensuring relevance and conversion potential.
- Collaborate with SEO, content, design, and tech teams to deliver content aligned with keyword priorities, trends, and marketing goals.
- Perform content audits to identify underperforming pages and make recommendations for pruning, updating, or consolidation to improve overall site performance.
- Identifying internal linking opportunities across the site ecosystem.
- Stay current with search engine algorithm updates, content formats, and emerging SEO trends, sharing key learnings with the team.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in SEO and content creation.
- Familiarity with on-page SEO techniques and content optimization best practices.
