**What you will do**

In this vital role you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of the ServiceNow platform, focusing on IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules, including Cloud Discovery, Optimization, and Governance.     THE POSITION

  • Ability to integrate with overall tax team to review state tax returns and provide state tax consulting – including nexus studies, apportionment and sourcing analysis, voluntary disclosures, and other state tax consulting
  • Research and resolve technical state and local tax issues
  • Manage resource requirements, project workflow and budgets
  • Review state matrices and other client deliverables
  • Coach and develop associates and senior associates including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (preferably B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance) from an accredited college/university - CPA or EA is an added advantage
  • 4+ years of US state and local tax experience in a public accounting firm or a corporate tax department
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, detail oriented and excellent interpersonal skills

    Founded in 2011, Lafayette is one of the pioneers in the Single-Family for Rent ("SFR") industry in the US.     THE POSITION

    Lafayette is currently looking for a Real Estate Asset Management Associate to work remotely out of India on a full-time basis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    ● Prepare weekly and monthly reporting packages on operational KPIs and full monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for internal leadership and investors using SQL and Excel

    ● Support the preparation of annual budgets for Lafayette’s investment funds and update forecasts based on actual performance

    ● Perform variance analysis, identifying key drivers behind budget-to-actual differences and generating actionable insights

    ● Assist with meeting annual audit obligations

    ● Automate reporting workflows using Excel, SQL, and VBA to improve accuracy and reduce manual processing time

    ● Support the capital markets team in preparing lender reporting packages and managing debt draws


    QUALIFICATIONS

    ● 5+ years of experience in asset management or a related analytical field

    ● Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required; familiarity with SQL is preferred

    ● Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage recurring reporting processes, and analyze large, complex data sets

    ● Willingness to work New York business hours (Eastern hours)

    ● Prior Real estate experience is required
