**Responsibilities:**
+ Functions under the oversight and supervision of the Telecom Leadership
+ Prepare and/or check structural calculations for telecommunications towers, equipment mounts, and other antenna supporting structures

**Qualifications:**

+ Proficiency in TS Tower, Risa-3D, and other typical industry analysis software
+ Proficiency in Spoken and Written English language
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
+ Experience in AutoCAD drafting is a plus
+ Excellent organization skills
+ Detail-oriented, function in a multi-task environment, follow complex instructions, and meet fast-paced deadlines
+ Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
+ Ability to work overtime as required to meet client deadlines

Job Description
The Structural Engineer applies their conceptual knowledge of Structural (Eng) and with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward Structural (Eng) problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures, as well as building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Structural Engineer understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations through analysis of possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Perform FEED, Studies, and detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on more complex and demanding engineering tasks
+ Apply knowledge and skills to complete varied assignments
+ Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports and procedures
+ Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines
+ Focus on completing work within budgets
+ Clearly communicate and explain information in straightforward engineering activities
+ Gain familiarity with the project scope of work, specifications, schedule, and all inter-discipline requirements; including identifying concerns as early as practicable
+ Initiate interface with other disciplines to obtain input for discipline designs
+ Perform computer analyses of structures designed by others with guidance from Senior/PPL engineers
+ Prepare design calculations as required
+ Assist in the preparation of specifications with guidance from colleagues
+ Perform engineering check of drafting
+ Performs engineering checks prepared by others within the discipline
+ Perform design verification through single discipline check and assist with inter-discipline checks (IDC)
+ Prepare & review MTO's of structures under supervision
+ Provide engineering support as required
+ Assist in the preparation of subcontract documents
+ Review vendor data
+ Assist in bid evaluations

Project: Lead Engineer
Functional: Supervising Department Manager
Liaise with: All design/drafting disciplines, all Engineering disciplines, Construction site/Fabrication groups, and Document

Supervises: Trainee Engineers
**Essential Qualifications and Education:**
+ Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering
+ 3-8 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant predominantly performing detail design, or equivalent experience in a similar project environment is desirable
+ Preferably a Registered Engineer in Training (ElT) or member of a professional engineering society desirable
+ Eager to learn
+ Working knowledge of English, both oral and written
+ HSE, TQM and cost-conscious
+ Show flexibility and ensure proper hand-over with regards to:
+ The reassignment to other departments, construction sites, and fabrication yards
+ The replacement of colleagues during illness and holidays
+ The provision of assistance to other colleagues with heavy workloads (also other projects) when possible/desirable
+ The managing/learning of future current working methods and software applications
+ Accredited engineering degree as may be required by specific regions
+ Familiar with the content and application of standards, codes, and guidelines as applicable

8. Seamlessly integrating and working with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and site engineers, to produce and alter design and drawings.
9. Thinking creatively and critically to support the project team in the design process, to create sketches and drawings that work.
10. Describing the design to extract the high-quality detailed drawings from the draftsman.
11. Creating and continually updating project drawings and document lists.
12. Printing various formats of drawing sets for project managers and engineers.
13. Systematically saving all the design and drawing data on our server; keeping the server organized; updating project folders and files as jobs progress and revisions are made.
14. Exhaustively reviewing and checking sketches and drawings for errors in coordination with design engineers, and draftsmen, before being sent to Sr. engineers, and project managers.
15. Seeking clarity and understanding from engineers, draftsmen, and project managers when one is uncertain about something.
16. Create, edit, and update standard details for use in projects.
