As a Structural Engineering SME within the Engineering division with efficiently you will be a leading expert in the Structural Engineering domain and responsible for the recruitment, training, implementation, and client engagement of Structural Engineers. Along with this you also need to perform the following tasks.
Job Responsibilities
The candidate should be able to perform the following tasks.
Utilize advanced proficiency in design software such as RISA, ETABS, ENERCALC, and STAAD.Pro , modeling and drafting software like Revit, and AutoCAD to train candidates on the same. Develop streamlined workflows between departments and provide BIM/Engineering product-specific domain knowledge support.
Led the production of improvement plans and exhibit drawings/models using AutoCAD and Revit, working collaboratively as per the client’s scope or feedback. Leverage expertise in design software to enhance productivity and precision.
Impart knowledge of actual execution and offer training on Structural systems recognized as industry standards, ensuring that candidates are well-versed in the latest technologies and methodologies.
Build a support model with the recruiting team, screening and testing candidates' product knowledge as per client needs and implementing BIM/Engineering expertise in the evaluation process.
Support the learning and development team with BIM/Engineering expertise and hands-on models tailored to client requirements.
Provide extensive training in Design/Drafting/Modeling software, conduct orientation sessions, and arrange on-the-job training for new hires, ensuring a strong foundation in relevant software.
Stay tech-savvy, self-learning, and updated with the latest Design and BIM trends, Codes, and Standards, particularly those from the USA region.
Work closely with candidates, providing required technical support to the placed candidates, understanding available products for Structural Engineering, and offering support and enablement to the sales team based on client-specific requirements.
Establish processes with Customer Success Operations to drive and collaborate on the Feature Request process.
Build and establish relationships with peer and product teams to ensure alignment and success in implementing design software tools effectively.
Provide internal support for advanced workflow conversations and collaborate with Customer Success and sales teams on meeting preparation, offering support and mentorship on customer-facing calls as necessary.
Work effectively from a home office, demonstrating a self-disciplined and efficient approach to remote work.
Guide placed candidates to achieve delivery deadlines with high-quality outcomes, utilizing expertise in design software and project management.
Address placed candidate queries promptly, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural/Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
A minimum of 8+ years of professional experience (excluding freelance) in Structural/Civil services encompassing design, drafting, modeling, and coordination, utilizing software such as RISA, ETABS, ENERCALC, and STAAD.Pro , Revit, and AutoCAD.
Proven design experience in building structures, including proficiency with Steel, Concrete, Wood, and Masonry materials.
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing BIM 360/ACC, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Windows OS 10 to enhance project coordination and management.
Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively in a team or independently, showcasing multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in interpreting advanced construction documents and construction drawings, ensuring accurate and precise implementation of design intent.
Extensive capability to generate 3D information models and construction drawings, showcasing advanced skills in utilizing design software.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective collaboration and information exchange among project stakeholders.
Proven adaptability and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex engineering challenges and construction requirements.

The “Subject Matter Expert” will be based in Coimbatore reporting to Manager
This role will be coordinating activities involved with procuring direct materials, components and equipment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintaining relations with the suppliers.
- Placing orders for necessary raw materials and purchased parts according to the requirements of the production.
- Receiving and handling the confirmations.
- Checking the purchase orders and modifying them according to the changes in the production plan with the help of the Shortage List and the Open Purchase Order List.
- Tracking shipments, urging them if needed.
- Regular, weekly check of the stocks, avoiding overstock.
- Minimizing the risk of obsolescence with the help of the weekly check of the obsolete report.
- Correspondence with the freight forwarders, warehouses, and in case organizing the transportation.
- Dealing with claims, settling debit and credit issues.
- Filing and recording all necessary documents.
- Checking the inventory of critical materials (personally if needed) according to the Shortage List.
- Getting in touch with the right warehouse personnel and having the discrepancy modified if there is any inventory discrepancies.
- Handling purchasing data privacy.
- Assuring all active components according to production needs, in time, for the accord price in the request.
- Reviews requisitions and MRP output.
- Confers with vendors to obtain product information such as price, availability and delivery schedule.

The Subject Matter Expert role is responsible for identifying and finding end to end solutions in fixing process gaps and ensuring timely payment from customer on outstanding accounts receivable dollars there by enabling smooth transition from order entry to cash experience for various customer segments and global strategic portfolios. The role also includes rendering training for new joiners and take part in strategic process related initiatives and problem solving exercises. Will have to strike a balance between maintaining trustful relationships with customer portfolio and team members, and ensuring timely payment there by reducing past due and influencing DSO numbers positively.
- Ability to take part in various strategic initiatives related to continuous improvement, learning & training of team members, take lead of small projects and customer problem solving exercises.
- Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates
- Reviews and prioritizes open accounts for collection efforts
- Role of mentor and back up for the associates incharge of and bringing them up the learning curve
- Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
- Based on customer responses, recommend and implement action plans for resolving delinquent transactions. Action plans may require the credit analyst to engage VWR associates from other departments, e.g., sales reps, pricing, etc. or outside parties, e.g., vendors, freight carriers, etc.
- Reconciliation of assigned accounts to ensure that payments and credit memos are properly applied.
- When necessary, escalate collection problems to CFS Management and/or Sales Team to assist in collection/resolution process
- Approve and authorize release of orders according to credit line and payment history within established guidelines.
- Communicate the status of the assigned portfolio and/or specific accounts to CFS Management and/or Sales Team.
- Work on special projects, e.g., account clean up, as needed
- Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with management.
- Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports.
- Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements
- Process Payments & Refunds as applicable
- Resolve billing and customer credit issues
- Update account status records and collections effort
