About the role

As an IoT System Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative automation modules for rooftop solar energy systems by designing and implementing an end-to-end energy IoT layer. You should be a systems-thinker, IoT product prototyper and tester of innovative automation use-cases, working on all in-parallel every day.

What you will work on

• Design and develop IoT system architecture and automation logic tailored for 360watts's product strategy
• Build and program embedded systems, ensuring reliable two-way communication between solar system devices (inverter, PV panels, BESS) and energy management software (EMS)
• Perform hands-on hardware prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting to validate functionality and integration as per the IoT system-architecture
• Collaborate closely with solar system hardware engineers, software developers and UX designers to conceptualise, design and test for automation use-cases
• Implement and maintain communication protocols such as MODBUS RTU/TCP, CAN, MQTT, and others to ensure robust end-to-end data exchange

Who you are

• Proven experience in developing embedded firmware for microcontrollers, with a strong focus on reliability and efficiency
• Hands-on experience in sensor integration, smart energy circuits, and control systems within industrial or energy environments
• Understanding of communication protocols such as MODBUS RTU/TCP and CAN for seamless interoperability of system devices
• Familiarity with IoT architectures and networking technologies including MQTT, HTTP, Zigbee, WiFi, and LTE to enable robust data exchange
• Passion for technical product development and prototyping
• Structured work ethic and documentation

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Embedded Systems, or a related field
• Experience in embedded systems (hardware + software stack)

Contract Business Analyst – Power BI Platform (12 Months)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Business Analyst on a 12-month contract to support the development of a new internal reporting and analytics platform built on Power BI . This role is key to ensuring the business needs across production, quality, operations, and finance are clearly understood, documented, and translated into actionable data and reporting requirements. You’ll act as the bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring reporting solutions are aligned with real operational needs in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders across the business to gather, analyze, and document reporting requirements
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for Power BI reports and dashboards
• Collaborate with data engineers, Power BI developers, and project leads to ensure alignment of business goals and technical delivery
• Support data mapping , source system analysis, and validation of reporting outputs
• Facilitate workshops, process walkthroughs, and feedback sessions with business users
• Help define KPIs, success metrics, and data definitions in coordination with business owners
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and user onboarding for new reports and dashboards
• Track progress, risks, and changes in scope across workstreams related to reporting and analytics

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working on data, reporting, or BI projects
• Strong understanding of Power BI capabilities and reporting workflows
• Experience working in or supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial operations
• Excellent communication and documentation skills (requirements, process flows, user stories, etc.)
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with SQL-based data sources , KPIs, and performance metrics
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with manufacturing systems (e.g., ERP , MES , SCADA )
• Exposure to Agile or hybrid project delivery methods
• Experience with data governance or data cataloging
• Understanding of Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate)

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor s degree or higher with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a business analyst.

Knowledge of Digital Commerce concepts including B2B, B2C and B2B2C.

Experience developing detailed user requirements, specifications and use cases.

Ability to translate business users requirements into technical requirements to align the engineering team to develop.

Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.

Working knowledge of Mural, or other design thinking tools.

Working knowledge of AHA and JIRA.

Experience working in Agile development/Scrum concepts (Epics, Stories, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives).

Highly proficient writing capabilities.

Knowledge and understanding of wireframe design and development functions.
