The Principal Systems Design / Architecture Engineer is a highly skilled subject matter expert, responsible for providing expertise in defining the architecture for large systems.

This role conducts system design activities to ensure that architectural solutions meet technical and functional requirements.

The Principal Systems Design / Architecture Engineer performs architectural analysis, evaluation, and design of systems that support and seeks to solve complex business and technical problems.

Key responsibilities:

• Provides technical expertise on system design activities and advises on the review of application, software, and system components across a variety of technology stacks.
• Ensures that architectural solutions meet technical and functional requirements.
• Works cross functionally to review existing system architecture and recommends improvements.
• Leads the investigation and scoping of change requests to determine the scale of work to be done and estimate the timeframe and input required.
• Determines system loads and volumes as input into infrastructure requirements.
• Ensures that proposed and existing systems architectures are aligned with the company's goals and strategies.
• Enables the design and development of new systems and solutions.
• Ensures that new systems and solutions conform to current system architecture and/or align to strategic system architectural direction.
• Leads architectural analysis, evaluation, and design of systems that support and seek to solve complex business and technical problems.
• Enables and ensures that system architecture is delivered in the form of robust and scalable solutions to business problems and needs.
• Identifies, evaluates, and assesses risks in order to mitigate them and eliminates any factor that may interfere or hinder the delivery of the architectural solution and dependent functional requirements.
• Advises on specifications for solutions functional and technical requirements, and implementation phases required in order to deliver on and solve complex business problems.
• Implements architectural governance, standards, metrics for measuring, monitoring and improving architecture.
• Proactively identifies potential problems that could be remediated by more effective architectural solutions.
• Performs any other related task as required.

Academic qualifications and certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Recommended certifications such as Cloud (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect); TOGAF preferred.

Required experience:

• Extended demonstrated experience in similar IT roles, with a focus on system design / architecture engineering.
• Extended demonstrated working experience in a large-scale organization.
• Extended demonstrated experience, judgment and drive to plan, make decisions and accomplish individual and team goals.
• Extended demonstrated experience with software development lifecycles.
• Extended demonstrated experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Extended demonstrated systems and/or software development experience is essential.
• Extended proficiency in cloud-based architectures, preferably in popular cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Extended proficiency in designing and implementing scalable, distributed, and high-performance systems.

Manager – Enterprise Business Solutions (Data & Analytics)

You will be responsible to

• Strategize, lead and design functional and technical solution development for new business acquisition activities related Indegene’s data, analytics, insights oriented solutions.
• Architect pricing models, solution construct and orchestrate between clients and internal stakeholders.
• Drive business solutions design and proposal development activities for Indegene services
• Conduct discovery sessions with customers to shape opportunities and contribute to the overall pipeline development.
• Maximize top line growth by focusing on both incremental and strategic/large deals focused on multi-year contracts at global level

Summary:
As a Senior Engineer (E Grade) specializing in SAP Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals (ATTP), you will play a technical leadership role in delivering robust serialization and traceability solutions for Takeda's global supply chain. You will directly contribute to solution configuration, integration, testing, and continuous improvement in support of global regulatory compliance and supply chain excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, optimize, and maintain SAP ATTP to enable end-to-end pharmaceutical serialization and product traceability.
• Design and deliver integrations between SAP ATTP, SAP ERP, MES, packaging lines, and external partners, ensuring reliable data flows across platforms.
• Translate business, quality, and regulatory serialization requirements into strong technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to serialization processes and support root cause analysis and resolution.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT teams to deliver aligned solutions and successful project outcomes.
• Participate in regulatory audits, compliance validation, and user acceptance testing related to serialization and data exchange.
• Generate and maintain detailed documentation for technical configurations and business processes in a compliant, auditable manner.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members in SAP ATTP and serialization best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of professional IT experience, with at least 2 years in SAP ATTP or pharmaceutical serialization.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ATTP configuration, serialization models, and integration with SAP ERP technologies (IDoc, RFC, EDI).
• Knowledge of global pharmaceutical serialization standards and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in regulated environments (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, etc.).
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate with cross-functional technical and business partners.
• Documented experience with system validation, testing, and regulatory documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP ATTP certification or relevant SAP credentials.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or supply chain operations.
• Familiarity with integration middleware (SAP PI/PO, CPI) and cloud-based SAP solutions.
• Exposure to MES or packaging line automation systems.
