About the Team

At Nutanix, you will have the opportunity to join the G&A-Data team, a group of 19 individuals located across different regions. This team is known for its innovative and fun culture, where collaboration and thinking outside the box are encouraged.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Business Analytics. At Nutanix, we believe in a hybrid work setup, which means employees are required to come into the office for 3 days a week. This setup allows for a good balance between in-person collaboration and remote work flexibility.

As part of your role at Nutanix, there will be travel requirements involved. This could include visiting different office locations, attending conferences, or meeting with clients, depending on the needs of the business.

As a Tableau Developer in Nutanix, you will be responsible for creating data visualisation solutions to improve business processes. This role will include tasks such as generating Tableau dashboard reports, creating business intelligence reports and visualisations, and working with source data teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, conduct unit testing, and maintain complex Tableau reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use.
• Provide technical expertise in areas of dashboard architecture, design, and implementation.
• Work with team members to create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight, improve/automate processes, or otherwise add value to the team.
• Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations.
• Ensure consistency by adhering to standards and templates.

Requirements

• Proven experience of 7+ years in designing and developing Tableau dashboards.
• Ability to query and display large data sets while maximising the performance of the workbook.
• Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications.
• Advanced Tableau development skills required.
• Understanding of advanced calculations and functions.
• A solid understanding of SQL, relational database management systems, data modelling, and normalisation
