Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Tableau Analyst , who will be part of the Finance performance management team in Bangalore, India. The successful candidate will drive the scale out and sustainability of the enterprise planning and analytics environment, build robust KPIs and dashboards to drive actionable insights, as well as perform other business partnering and support activities.
The ideal skill set would include a finance and/or information systems background, Tableau expertise to support Finance team forecasting and reporting needs. Candidate should have proficiency in data visualization best practices and dashboard design and project implementations.
Responsibilities:
Create, update, and optimize Tableau dashboards and data visualizations.
Utilize Tableau's platform to generate valuable insights and drive business decisions.
Design and develop reports using various graphical and data modeling techniques.
Establish and monitor new KPIs, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
Collect and normalize data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and completeness.
Create, test, and deploy dashboards and reports, and set up automated data refreshes.
Define access controls and implement necessary security measures.
Conduct in-depth data analysis to generate accurate, actionable reports.
Design wireframes and prototype beta dashboards with a focus on user experience and visibility.
Continuously monitor and enhance the performance and functionality of Tableau reports and dashboards.
Develop and implement the best practices for system processes, new models, enhancements, and training.
Build and maintain positive relationships with key business partners and understand their reporting needs, issues and provide innovative solutions
Requirements:
Proven experience in developing and managing Tableau-driven dashboards and analytics.
Strong ability to query and handle large data sets while ensuring optimal workbook performance.
Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
2+ years of Tableau development experience
Strong understanding of SQL, relational database management systems, data modeling, and standardization techniques.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work
Must have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Business knowledge of finance and/ or accounting functions is a plus.
Education:
2+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Applied Data Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar field required; or Master’s degree without experience; or equivalent experience.

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst that is excited about the below Mission and Outcomes.
Mission:
Drive informed decision making within the COO’s organization by turning data from our Accounting, Corporate Secretary, FinTech and Compliance operations into actionable insights that improve the robustness and profitability of Sleek’s operations.
Outcomes:
1/ Data reliability
Ensuring that your analysis is at least 90% accurate, with clear understanding and explanation of what causes the 10% gap.
2/ Dashboard creation and management
- Visualizing data in Looker Studio or Tableau, in a way that is clear and concise
- Calculation of metrics are to be consistent with existing dashboards
- Dashboards are to be prototyped with the end user in Google Sheets before created
- Efficient/ scalable solutions to be proposed to ensure long-term sustainability of dashboards
- Dashboard usage is to be reviewed every quarter those with low utilization are to be archived
3/ Documentation
Ensure all key metrics and calculations are clearly documented in Google Docs and pinned/ linked in our internal Wiki or Slack channels. Language should be accessible to other Data Analysts and non-technical stakeholders.
4/ Data quality recommendations
Work with Tech, Product and Data Engineers to ensure data pipelines are robust and efficient, so that Big Query is maintained as best as possible.
5/ Collaborate with other Data Analysts
Even though you’ll be embedded within the functional team and working independently, you’ll need to contribute to an inclusive, friendly, knowledge sharing culture with other DAs, so that everyone is aware of each other's workstreams/ sprints, challenges and learnings.
To do this, you will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Data Analyst.
