Job Description Summary
Prepare, review, account and file accurate taxes for GEB E.g. TDS, GST, Income tax and other tax-related activities.
Job Description
- Experience Required: 3 to 5 years

Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for entire tax related activities and compliance for GEB
- Review, analyze and process all tax liabilities and filings
- Review and ensure integrity of data is maintained
- Assist with projects, issues, and questions that arise from both inside and outside the Finance/Accounting departments
- Assist with internal and external audit requests
- Foster strong working relationships with team members across the company to ensure efficient operation of the department and business.
- Prepare month end close entries needed based on monthly review of income/expense accounts.
- Work with external partners as needed to draft responses to the tax authorities.
- Prepare, review, interpret, and analyze financial information and tax implications arising out such data on a regular basis to ensure accurate and timely

Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in commerce, Accounting or related field.
4 - 5 years of experience in business taxation working for a Big 4 or a large national, regional or local accounting firm; or equivalent in industry or with a law firm.
Must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam, CA, EA or a licensed JD.
Prior tax compliance & consulting experience serving Asset Management clients.
Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance.
Ability to work closely with clients to answer questions or to collect necessary information for tax service requirements.
Preferred Qualifications :
Strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation for the investment funds industry.
Experience dealing with international tax forms and U.S. state and local tax
