Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic manufacturing plans to optimize production processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement data-driven solutions to address operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
  • Manage and mentor a remote team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Drive innovation in manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a remote workforce effectively.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
