About the Role

As a Terraform Solutions Architect, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of Terraform-based solutions that empower scalable, secure, and efficient cloud deployments. You will work closely with Cloud Engineering, Security, Networking, Development, and Operations teams to create architecture blueprints and deliver enterprise-grade IaC solutions.
This role offers the opportunity to influence cloud strategy, mentor teams, and drive large-scale automation initiatives, making it a key leadership role in our cloud journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Architect, design, and implement robust Terraform modules to support multi-cloud infrastructure needs (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- IaC Leadership: Champion the adoption of Terraform and IaC practices across teams and projects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Security, Networking, Development, and Operations teams to define standardized, secure, and compliant infrastructure blueprints.
- Process Optimization: Identify gaps in existing processes and implement automation-driven improvements to enhance performance, resiliency, and cost optimization.
- Documentation & Standards: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for Terraform modules, architecture patterns, and operational guidelines.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor engineers on Terraform best practices, modular design, and cloud-native architecture.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure all Terraform solutions align with organizational compliance, security, and audit standards.
- Innovation: Contribute to long-term strategic cloud initiatives and evaluate emerging IaC tools and practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- 9–12 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with at least 5+ years in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proven expertise in designing, developing, and managing reusable Terraform modules.
- Strong knowledge of multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise-grade cloud architecture.
- Hands-on experience in cloud security, cost optimization, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications (Terraform, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect) are a strong plus.
